Day 13

In your own space, talk about a creator. Show us why you think they are amazing. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.

Ooh. Where to start? I guess I gotta go old school on this.

sildil was the first person I ever wrote a story with, and OMG, it was crack. MPREG crack. I think it's still over at OEAM. The best part about it was the collaboration, which led to a much better fic "Forests of the Night" which has been translated into three languages. Sil's quite good at both descriptive passages and witty turns of phrase. I wish she still wrote.

talullahred DOES still write! Finally! After an extended break! She's the other writer with whom I collaborated, and what fun that was! She's such a graceful and elegant writer. I'd compare it to a ballet, where the words dance and float and twirl in the most delightful ways. I'm the breakdancer spinning on a piece of cardboard on the side of the stage.

I can't not mention larienelengasse. Like Tal, she's also a very atmospheric writer. The amount of work she puts into getting the small details just right amazes me, but it makes her writing that much more powerful.

alexcat is almost like the gatekeeper of fandom, what with all the newsletters and OEAM. Her pared-down style is unique in fandom, but she packs so much into so few words. I like that.

joyful_molly does a great Erestor/Glorfindel that I just can't resist.

kenazfiction doesn't write as much as she used to, but my GOD, when she does, it's always amazing.

phyncke, erviniae, chloe_amethyst and aglarien1 are also good writers, though not nearly as prolific as they once were. I think all of you are writing in the Slashy challenge, though, so yay! :D chaotic_binky, on the otherhand, is nothing if not prolific. And it all manages to be good.

There are lots of other writers that I read, though none of them have LJs. Others who I used to love have, sadly, left fandom.
