Y'all have heard from me before. No lies, y'all will probably hear from me again.

I'm a could-be-anyone transguy with ambition and persistence. I'm the could-be-anyone transguy who is using his skills/experience/fervor to get a new trans-spectrum zine off the ground and out in the world. I believe that small actions from all of us who are often unheard can change the world. I believe that we all need to come together with confidence and speak our minds to make a difference.

Lots of you expressed interest in contributing to Transpective. Lots of you expressed interest in having the finished copy arrive at your doorstep. I'm here again because I need your help to make this a success. I'm here because there are more voices out there to be heard. I'm here because best intentions aside, I still need more contributions.

WHO: Anyone who is non cis-gendered and has a voice they want heard/seen. You must be willing to sign a release of content certifying that the works submitted are your own original piece(s) and that you have sole permissions/usage rights. (We are not looking for ownership of your copyrights)

WHAT: fiction/non-fiction literature, artwork, how-to pieces, poetry, tips, guides, questions you'd like answered (we are not seeking materials solely pointed at 'what my gender means to me'.)

WHEN: This is an open call for submissions. The zine will be starting out as a quarterly publication (first issue due out in May), but we'd like to have enough content to up the frequency. The more we get, the more we can publish.

WHERE: All submissions and questions can be posted to: transpective.zine@gmail.com

HOW: This publication is committed to promoting diversity, inclusion, and positive image for all non cisgender identifying individuals.

****There will be a section set-aside for "supportive voices" adding awareness that there are peeps/orgs/employers/etc who ARE supportive. So, should you fit nicely with the gender you were assigned at birth, please consider submitting under those terms. If you've got a supportive voice to share we still want to hear it****
You can now find us on myspace as well. myspace.com/transpective
