Birthday trapping

Every year I go trapping on my birthday...it's the first day of trapping season. I took my apprentice, Tanya and her husband, Jimmy out today. We caught two birds. The first was a big mature female. The second was an immature middle sized bird with big feet. She had something very wrong with her though. she was covered in flat flies and maggots. Her entire tail was necrotic and stinking to high heaven. I took her over to Mark Hildebran and his wife Dr. Jessica Kidd. If she can be saved, I have faith Mark can do it. I hadn't slept in two days. So when I got home from the vet clinic I crashed. I'll go out a bit tonight. I have to feed and fly my falcons first thing in the morning.
