Day 19, Evening, personal journal entry

So, tactically, the Mainland's turned out to be pretty much a bust. We've spent the past three days getting through powerless doors and into the buildings there. The archaeologists are fascinated, but everything's been stripped-- whatever power sources they were using, crystals, doohickies and gadgets, everything. The Ancients obviously knew the end was coming and didn't want to leave anything the wraith could use, which means they didn't leave anything we could use either.

It's been dirty, hard work, but at least I've been away from the buzzing in the back of my brain.

Second ATA run tomorrow. I'm a test subject. Still a little nervous. Carson assures me it's pretty unlikely the therapy would screw up the fixes Thor gave me, but I can't help but picture me melting down into a pile of goo. Morituri te salutant.

I wish I could throw back a few beers, but going into the trials with a hangover doesn't seem like a good idea.
