Tiiiiiired...

Merry Easter and a happy new April!

I am really tired right now. I don't think I should be... but I am. I went out for brunch this morning with my mom, her friend and daughter who were staying with us, my mom's boyfriend, and my mom's boyfriend's more-or-less family.

Anyways... I was awakened this morning at 8:15 by my mother... it went something like this:

Mom: Wake up, it's 8:15.
Me: *still half asleep* ...What?
Mom: It's time to wake up!
Me: *could hear her perfectly, but still not quite awake* What?
Mom: It's 8:15 and we need to be ready by 9.
Me: *a little more awake now* ...ok. *didn't get up until about 15 minutes later*

I was pretty drowsy all morning. I asked my mom a few questions about where we were eating and whether we had to dress up. I can't even remember the conversations I had this morning. I was just too too tired.

My mom's friend's daughter is in middle school. She pretty much has all of the characteristics typical of someone that age. She's in the process of becoming what she views a teenager should be. I don't mind keeping her company when she visits. She ended up spending most of the time at my house reading my "Kodocha" mangas (she got hooked on them last time she visited.)

So, my spring break is this week. Neat! I plan to get a lot of stuff done with all this spare time I have for the next week.... but I also plan to relax and recooperate so that I can survive the rest of the semester without getting way too exhausted like last one.

In my Japanese class, I was asked what I wanted to do during spring break. I said relax and was thrown off guard when my teacher asked me if I am able to.

...umm.... perhaps she meant to ask if I would be too busy to relax. That was a long the lines the conversations we were having.

Sensei: What do you want to do this Spring vacation?
Student: I want to go to sfjkjfkljf.
Sensei: Are you able to go to sfjkjfkljf?
Student: No, I have to work.

But then my inner workaholic came into my head and asked "-Are- you able to relax and do nothing?" and I didn't quite know how to answer.

Me: .... no...

No, I can take days off without doing homework. It's just that during the schoolweek, it never quite seems likely.

Okay... okay... I blabbed too much already.
This post had pretty much turned into a word-association type thing. *tired*

I guess I tend to do that in my regular conversations anyways...
