Geez, I just went all Coach Z and typed "Livejeornal.com" just now. Hehe...
The new Ender series book came out today. I, of course, bought it! YAY!
Today I encountered a very flirty guy at the English Center. He didn't break eye-contact and had a really goofy smile, so it was very odd for me. He said that he passes me a lot walking around campus and never had a chance to say hi. He seems like a nice guy... but kind of weird. It's always really weird when someone you don't know tells you out of the blue that they see you all the time. It's kind of like "Okay... how long have you been stalking me?" He doesn't seem like a stalker, but still.
At one point of the conversation he asked me what math class I am in. I was confused as to why he was asking due to the fact we're in college and not everyone is taking math. Told him anyway that I am in Statistics. He looked really shocked for a while and then told me that he is in a basic math class. I guess statistics is really impressive to some. Maybe he was surprised that I am in a much more advanced class than he is. I've found recently that Statistics is really quite easy.
Oh yeah, back to the subject: That guy? ...I'll probably end up talking to him again... seeing as how he knows where I work... and see's me on campus... apparently.
Errr... I don't really know what I think of that.
He asked me if "Julia" was an Irish name... uhh... what?
I have no idea where the name "Julia" comes from. I know the Italian equivalent is "Giulia"... but besides that, no idea. Perhaps "Julia" comes from "Giulia"... ah, who knows!
The Spanish pronunciation of my name reminds people of hula hoops. I ended up in a rather funny dialogue about that last semester. Err... I'll get into that later... perhaps... probably not.
