with soo many little thoughts
little moods push these thoughts around
straight lines, single file now
we dont want to cause chaos in this mind

here comes the heart of this issue
the heart of it all is just another way to bandage up bruises never healed

I find myself thinking about things far in the past, the things never grown
the things never lost, the things always gained

if this is how they are to be now then maybe this is how i should be about them

this is my own way of realizing that i'm happy
this is a joy i'm getting at , i'm not getting out of here, i'm letting it go away

making these things work, and working these things till they make it
take two kinds of patience, i know i have

i dont have the words to write, but i have these images of you and me
and the words never need to come when i look at that perfection

The thought of the old, the forgotten, and the broken past
I'll admit tragedy always had its appeal, I'm living in the future of my dreams from the past
that day i never thought would come was the day you walked into my life

this body is at war with itself, fearing every one else
this mind is a dangerous thing, my heart beats of past heartache, and this tongue is tipped with poison.
I will give up my life for you to never know these things to be true

This is how things go, this is how the cards fold, but i've got a royal flush.
If I"m the king of the hearts, be my queen

I know everything is gonna be alright when these hearts and stars collide
When this nameless moment is finally named, when i look back and say i've lived this life
i'm living this life

I"m starting to become comfortable with what i have, and no matter how things turn out i'm happy as long as i have you

We'll look back into the past and say we missed the disaster, but we have forever in front of us and this adventure is a beautiful one to say the least
