just a little update...
Well, I haven't updated since my birthday, so I figured I'd do something about it.
Let's see...
My mom decided to waste her money (again) on buying a new set of furniture that we couldn't afford and could never afford (her entire income tax went to that furniture). It's too big for the living room, so we had to rearrange it. In fact, the furniture is SO big (like giant frickin' marshmallow seats), that NO ONE'S feet can touch the floor!! My mother picked out jumbo-sized furniture!
At least it's super comfy.
Besides that, I'm moving. Mike and I are renting out a room in a house that belongs to a friend of mine from high school. The rent is only $200 a month (which is SO much better than the cheapest apartments we've seen starting at $575 a month).
It'll be happening quite soon because home life is way too depressing. The only family members who want me to stay are my dad and my grandmother; and I feel bad leaving them behind. But I can't deal with feeling unwelcome, unwanted, and unloved anymore.
