My weekend
I have had like, the laziest weekend ever. I went to see two houses yesterday, they weren't suitable- the first one was GORGEOUS but it was too far away and the second one was too old- I mean, I would have had to had double glazing put in, new carpets, strip all the wallpaper, put a shower in plus more, and I don't have the funds to do that. So Dad's going to ring the estate agents tomorrow and put another offer in on the house we found a few weeks ago that we really liked. Fingers crossed!
Today the caretaker came to fix my en-suite light and I only realised when I went in there when he was done, I left my collection of toilet roll tubes on the shelf (I just can't be bothered to put them in the bin) and I had a tampon sitting on the shelf right next to the light. Ooops!
Oh, and some people have been mentioning threes_a_crowd, it's like an icon challenge and you team up into groups of three and compete in a group against other groups. I'm not sure if I have time, but is anyone interested in doing it with me? Never mind, I'm doing it with rideinthelimo and sra33 yay!
I've been making Kate Beckinsale icons this weekend, fiddling about with some new ideas. Thing is, I like my icons simple and when I try and do more complicated stuff it just looks poo. Because I LIKE the simple stuff, you know? And while I think complicated looking icons are great for icontests (because they get the most votes) I just...don's like them as much as the simple ones with just a good crop and nice texture effects.
I didn't mean that to end up in a mini-rant.
