Friday - Had the morning off, just got up fairly late and then went up the Gym for an hour. Kinda like having morning off as my half days as I can get up when I feel like it and genrally just take it easy. Went in to work at about 1:30, stayed there for about an hour then head off in X243FBL to London, to deliver the car to a customer. This customer had not even seen the car she was buying. Basically I sold a car to one of her friends, Kate Fetherston-Godley, and she recommended her to me. Kate had a look at it before and gave Amanda the thumbs up, thus why I was delivering it. Amanda had given me some directions to her house which wasnt far off the M4 in Hammersmith. Had arranged to be there at 4pm, and I pulled up bang on time, couldnt have done it any better! Did the paperwork with Amanda and showed her round the car then he kids nanny and friend gave me a lift to paddington as they lived pretty close by. Think they were chuffed to give me a lift as it meant they got off work an hour early. Was really quite pleased I got a lift to the station as I didnt really fancy tackling the underground. Got a train pretty mushc straight away which was a rusult and got back in to Newbury just after 6. Steph took me across to Hungerford later in the evening to collect my car.
Worked all day yesterday. Had a really busy morning with loads of customers about, just unfortunatly we didnt really sell much and there were quite a few time wasters about. For example Jon had a customer who seemed really interested in a £17k Focus we had. Took it on a test drive etc, and then said he had a budget of around 6k and then when Jon valued his part exchange, he wanted £1000 more than it was worth.
Went out last night with Steph and her dad Andy. Steph was driving which was cool. First we went to a pub in nearby village called Stockcross. Only stayed there for one drink. DOnt really know how it survives. Nice enough place but so quiet and there must have been all of 5 people in there, including us! We then went on to the Swan at Great Shefford. This is a much better place. Not too busy but with a bit of music, fair few people, pool table etc. Ended up staying there till about 11:30 playing pool. Really enjoyable eveining actually.
