Popped the ski season's Cherry

Dave and I tag teamed the start of ski season today. It was good. We tried out last year's product of the year for those of you familiar with board meeting. It basically had a foot and a half of powder over rocks and sticks and trees. I fell in that white goodness many a time, culminating in the time I got my foot caught in a sub powder tree. That hurt. I gimp skied the rest of the day, and hopefully didn't hold dave back so much. I think we hit all except 2 of the lifts, and found this bumpy thing that you could get some sweet air on. Now some of you might say, "but I thought you hurt your leg on the second run of the day, what are you doing jumping?" It is a good thing I am not old enough to let a simple thing like pain slow me down. I am sure Dave is going to rat me out on the fact that after 12:45 and doing 3 or 4 runs of that I skied a whole lot less agressively, and eventually admitted that I was letting gravity pull me down a hill while standing on two planks rather than really skiing. Anyways to all of you who will eventually have more time to ski than I will, "ha ha, I got on the slopes earlier than you did."
