[edit: arg, apparently I didn't export the pictures at a high enough quality for you to see all the great details. Perhaps I will re-upload them at a laterd date... but that's not very likely. Oh well. You should still be able to make out what I'm talking about. Enjoy!]

Wikipedia.
Madonna's arm hair makes me happy. She used to have quite a lot. But, as can be expected, as she got more famous, her arm hair got less prominent. Follow the timeline below to watch her arms depilate.
In 1979, we can clearly see the wealth of follicles growing healthily on a 21-year-old Madonna's forearms:
In another, from the same shoot, it's harder to see. Lighting, make-up, and chance make up a big part of the visibility of the arm fuzzers.
In 1981, she's going strong:
1982 - first record deal, but her arm hair's still weeee:
1983:
Another 1983 - hair still very much present:
1984: airbrushed/lit up? hair or not?
In 1985, Madonna broke into mainstream acting.
Here's her in 1987, hairy:
Then, suddenly, in 1988 (the same year she made her Broadway debut in David Mamet's Speed The Plow), it all disappears.

GONE! all of it! shiny and smooth arms!
Still gone in 1989:
Perhaps a trace of it here in 1990:
Definitely not there in 1993 (note that the two fellows with her don't have any hair either):
And the last bits disappear after 1994:
Today (well, 2006), at almost 50 years of age, Madonna is as bald as a baby's knee, and she looks like she's going to kick my ass:
Another bald-o (but great) picture:
Hm.
I'd love to see someone else track the disappearance of her eyebrows.
1988:
Conclusions to be drawn from this brief study:
- OMG I LOVE MADONNA!!!!!!!!!!1eleven
- I will never write my paper.
I hope you found this to be an effective learning experience. I know I did.
