Summer Plans
Hey guys! Braden here. So summer is finally coming and it’s starting to get here a lot faster than anticipated. Although most of you are still in school, I and a few others just have one week left before our vacation starts and I know that for most of us, this may be the last time we’ll get to see each other since we’re all starting to go our separate ways.
So here’s the deal: aside from a one month summer class in the morning, I’m going to have a lot of free time and I for one am not going to sit around doing absolutely nothing, so I’ll be planning a lot of things to do during this vacation but to do so, I’m going to need your help.
So far I’ve got some plans for the following things to do during the summer, and if you have any more ideas then please let me know:
-Trips to the beach or lake
-Road Trips
-Board game nights
-Movie/TV marathon nights
-LAN Parties
-Paintball
-Concerts
-Just hanging out
-Other events (sports, conventions, etc.)
Now, if any of this sounds interesting to you, then I’m going to need the following information if you want to get in on it.
• If you have a job, I’m going to need a schedule of the days you work or usually work. If it’s pretty much random, then let me know that too, and if there’s any times where you’re most likely to have a day off please mention that as well.
• I’ll also need to know how much of a notice you’ll need to request a day off in case you’re most likely working on whatever day you do it. If you can’t request a day off on your job, let me know that too so I won’t badger you to do so.
• If you’re not attending Sonora High or Columbia College then I’ll also need the date that your semester ends and when you’ll be back in Sonora.
• If you’re leaving Sonora at the end of the summer, then give me the date that you’re most likely leaving.
• Also, give me any other times that you won’t be free (this could be stuff like church, vacations, family reunions, etc.)
If there’s any other information that you think I should know, then please let me know that, too. The more information you give me, the better I am to plan events for the future and the more likely it is that you’ll be invited.
Now, for most of the things I’m planning, I’ll probably just send you a message personally, call you on the phone, or talk to you in person, but sometimes I will have events going on where pretty much everyone is invited. Those I will be posting on my calendar on my myspace profile and usually my blog. So far it’s just my biweekly board game nights, but there should be more events going on in the future. If you’re interested in attending, give me a call or send me a message saying that you’re interested and I’ll reply with more info.
Hopefully I’ll get to hear from you soon. Please reply as soon as you possibly can so we can get more crammed in to this fantastic summer!
