The dangerous kitchen...
Ok So there is this cute little Deli right next to our laboratory Annex at work and its called "Pot Belly Deli"
I frequent the establishment often for a morning whole wheat muffin/bagel and Chai tea.
There has always been this lonely sad little whole wheat & cherry muffin in the front of the display... I bieng the lonely, sad muffin in reality wanted to believe that there was hope for my foodstuffish counterpart so I did the unthinkable-
I bought the muffin.
I get back to my office and begin to try and take off its dainty underwear, it's actually become part of the muffin ;/
So I get up all my nerve and *break* off a piece of the top. The expressions on my face would have been priceless if there had been a camera or person to share them with.
As I begin to grind it down to my horror I am enlightened that this muffin IS older than my stay at Del Monte foods.
*I threw it out without a second thought*
I feel guilty now, with this sour nasty taste in my mouth. I have to wonder if the next person that comes into my life will do the same... well off to THE FRUIT!!!!
