The rumours around the community had begun to ease his anger, at least; there was chatter that it was a virus, that other people were influenced. It made a helluva lot more sense than Rider actually wanting to return to an abusive household.
Still didn't mean that it didn't hurt...
Ban sighed, pushing himself off of the tree he was leaning against, cigarette dangling from his lips. He'd done so well in easing off of the nicotine, but if ever there was a stressful moment in which he needed a smoke - this was it.
