hey guys :)
just thought i'd ask your advice on working out how much my jazzmaster is worth, as its looking increasingly likely i'm going to have to sell it in order to do mundane stuff like pay my rent :( bah :(
as you'll be able to see from the pictures under the cut, it's been modified a little - partially for cosmetic reasons, partially because of my intense dislike for a few of the jazzmasters little 'quirks' (aka 'faults' ;) )
its a 1997 crafted in japan jm, with the following mods: :
seymour duncan quarterpound for jm pickup in the bridge
bridge / tailpiece locked in place
buzz-stop adapter for the bridge
schaller tune-o-matic bridge
fender / schaller locking tuners
graph-tech nut
interior cavity shielded with aluminium tape (not that it makes that much difference :D )
and a bunch of purely cosmetic stuff - the black scratchplate, knobs and neckplate.
there's a number of small dings, dents and scratches, the worst of which are visible on the photos.
so any thoughts? how much would you guys sell this for? do the mods significantly reduce the value, in your opinion?
