Maybe you are dying to know what's up with me. Maybe you don't care. Truth be told, I got a job at the University of Minnesota Department of Entomology, studying the mold mite, Tyrophagus putrescentiae (Schrank). I'm loving it more than I thought I would My advisor and colleagues are great. The other people I work with are great. Some of the people I work with are frustrating, but those are the people I work with only rarely and usually only once (except maybe when we check into the store for trapping.) I can explain more about my job later.

First, it's time for a slightly embarassing story. For my high school graduation, my sister-in-law gave me a pink Care Bears blanket, fleece. I bring that on th plane with me, because its compact and lightweight. Well, on the way to Houston on June 1, I was sleeping on the plane with that and my green eye mask, to block out the light. We stopped in Jackson, AL, without a plane change. I remember them saying we could swtich seats when they told us we could. The next thing I knew, I woke up, and peopel were boarding the plane. I missed that opportunity, but its okay, cuz I had a window seat, which was great for sleeping up against.

After we arrived in Houston, TX, I got off the plane and my advisory laughingy said, "Hey sleeping beauty."
"You saw?"
He snikcered and showed me a picture of me all curled up with a pink blanket on his phone. Hahaha. They were talking during the stopover and wondering where I was, so Marc, my colleague went to look for me, found me, and said, "Picture moment!"

Oh well, it could have been far more embarrassing.
