Lots of standing and mixing.
The reactions went very well.
Only had one issue, because the first mixture looked black and was supposed to be orange. Turned out it was dark orange with black stuff in it (Iodine) that made it look black because of the stir bar. Added the TMAC and it turned yellow right away, which was what was needed.
Wait, two issues.
For some reason I put it in a separatory funnel in stead of a Buchner funnel! BRAIN lapse.
