The Joe Trainor Trio needs your help!!

Aug 31, 2009 21:57

Hello everyone...it's been too long,

I know I haven't had a chance to speak to you all as much as I like, but I was hoping you'd be willing to come and support a great cause.

As many of you know my daughter, Erin, suffers from Juvenile Diabetes. On Saturday, September 19 we are performing a benefit concert at The Baby Grand Theater to raise money for The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation of Delaware. Tickets are only $15 and all of the proceeds go directly to the charity.

This is a worthwhile cause for me and I really would like to see it succeed. But we're going to need your help.

For those who don't know, The Joe Trainor Trio is me (piano, vocals) with Kevin Niemi on bass (from The Wall and Hedwig), and Mike Doroff on drums (from our touring production of Hedwig). We're an original band and are currently supporting our debut album, "Drive". In addition to songs from this album, we'll be debuting new material, and are planning a few surprises, as well.

Opening the show will be our friends Jill Knapp and Matt Casarino (also from The Wall as well as numerous other productions). And the night is going to be recorded for an upcoming DVD release. How often do you get to be a part of a live album/DVD? While donating money to a great cause? On my birthday?

Some come celebrate with us!! We really hope you all can make it...
