Bar night was awesome. It should definitely be done again. It's like being at the pub... But at home! Steph managed to fall from the second story of a construction site, and therefore wins ( Read more... )

I can't make it to the airport. I'm just...busy, y'know? I don't know, I'm sure you understand.

Sorry.

Yeah, that's's okay. I'll stay on Jo's couch instead too, if that's cool. Your room just has... A bad vibe, or something.

And by vibe, I mean you.

Are you sure Jo is ok with that? I mean, I had Jo over last night and she was explaining to me how uncomfortable she felt around you. I found myself agreeing. I mean, you're nice and everything, you just don't seem to...fit in. Like, at all.

Hmm. I guess. When I hang around with you guys, it's as if we never really 'click'. It's just constant small talk.

I get along well with Jess, though. I mean, at least she and I have some music in common. Would it be okay if I stayed with her for a while, do you think?

I mean, I like you, but there's just something about spending so much time with some people that gets on my nerves. Nothing personal, you're just a small-doses person. You can still come over, and stuff.

I understand the small-doses comment. I know how frustrating it is to be around someone you just don't 'get'. Since you've been gone I've just felt more...free. I guess I feel a little repressed around you, like I have to dumb myself down to your level. We just can't have a conversation, and it gets a little boring.

I guess you could stay with Jess. You'd have to ask pretty nicely though, I mean, you're not very well liked over here. Not to be rude, but you're a bit of a burden on all of our lives.

I'm sure it would be fine if I stayed with Jess. We've been getting pretty close, after all. I doubt she'd tell you that though, I don't really think she trusts you like she trusts me. Again, it's not a personal thing, but you're not really the kind of person that you can tell personal things.

I agree that we have a little trouble having conversations. The truth is though that it's easier to talk to you about simple things which don't require too much interpretation. You just get really authoritative on more meaningful subjects. That isn't intrinsically a bad thing, and I quite respect it in many people, but you just never really know what you're talking about. You just seem to repeat what you hear on television, or the radio. You're fairly pretentious, I guess.
