I had an odd dream last night. I was in a queue, waiting to get into a busy store. Perhaps it was Christmas or some other hectic busy time of year. I was waiting alone when a scary man arrived and starting talking to me about really horrible things, graphic portraits of death, explicitly horrible sexual acts and so forth ( Read more... )

And here's me getting excited by my Quantum Leap dream. No wonder you didn't seem impressed.

Also - was the weird guy by any chance based on the scary guy we met at St Johns?

Oh no! I'm glad your shoes don't actually have marmelade in them, that would be quite tragic!

And thus I whipped out my handy-dandy Dream Dictionary- every respectable girl has to have one. Or two. I have three. Anyway, marmalade in serving, eating, or making in a dream forecasts happy times ahead. But the marmalade wasn't served upon you, it was forced upon you. So forceable happy times ahead. Now, dreaming of losing your shoes means you're wasting your efforts in unproductive activity. A strange man augurs well for family affairs. So... your dream means that you're wasting your time with whatever you're doing, because happy times will be forced upon you not to mention your profitable family affairs. And you'll get all this and a new, marmalade-less pair of shoes.

Wow - happy times forced upon me? I can hardly wait :) Thank you for that, madam! You and your dream dictionary have enlightened me no end. I'll look forward to those new shoes too - I need some new ones for summer really, so maybe I should just take the hint from my subconscious.
