Chapter 1: Yunho's Dilemma
Jung Yunho, leader of the popular Asian boy band DBSK, looked at his reflection in the said band's cramped little bathroom. He had undeniably large eye bags because of lack of sleep. He sighed, 'This wont do at all...'. Why does he looks like this you ask? Well it because for the past few weeks he wasn't thinking about anything else other than his group mate and best friend Kim Jaejoong.
Kim Jaejoong...even the name itself sends shivers down his spine! 'I wonder-Stop Yunho! Not this again!' he repramanded himself, having the urge to suddenly bang his head on the tiled sink. He was sick and tiered of just thinking about his best friend. And what was worse that this said best friend of his is a MAN no less! This could not be healthy...right? Yunho growled and glared at his reflection. What would his family think? What would his other three young group members think? What would his other friends think? What would his fans think if this ever slips out, that the "manly" leader of TVXQ was thinking perverted thoughts about a another MAN? Kim Jaejoong to be exact! And lastly what would Jaejoong think?
He would be disgusted thats for sure.
The leader sighed,
Jaejoong...
Jaejoong...
"Jaejoong..." even the itself name tasted sweet every time it was uttered by his tongue. This shouldn't be happening to them...correction to HIM! They were only supposed to be best friends...and that was it! Friends sharing burdens, having fun, savoring their success...But why was he feeling differently? He knew from the first time he met Jaejoong, he was captured by those detached, huge brown eyes the latter possessed.
He knew that life wouldn't be the same once he got to know that interesting little creature. But not this in this way! These feelings of longing he had for the other was not supposed to be! And it was just plain wrong to fall in "like" with your MALE best friend!
Yunho shook his head. 'No, these feeling would be stopped no matter what.' The leader thought determinedly. 'I will stop it no matter what the cause is. I will save myself and most importantly Jaejoong from the hurt these disturbing feelings of mine may cause.' he declared.
'And for now...'he gave out a pained sigh,'Jaejoong's feelings and protecting Jaejoong is my first priority. Even if it hurts me I will endure it.'
With that thought in mind Yunho exited the bathroom; still feeling a little bit disoriented from all that thinking and lack of sleep ,he bumped into none other than Kim Jaejoong himself!
'God couldn't this day even get worse?!' the leader groaned mentally.
Not aware of the emotional and physical pain he brings to Yunho,Jaejoong put his right hand on his small waist and gave Yunho a stern look.
"Jung Yunho! What took you so long?! You were hogging the bathroom for like..." he looked at the wall clock, "Thirty minutes! What the hell were you doing in there?" the lead singer demanded tapping his foot impatiently.
'The ever demanding Jaejoong...' Yunho sighed giving his best friend one of his most endearing sheepish grins.
"Sorry Boo...I was thinking of some stuff and lost track of time..." he replied rubbing the back of his head. At his reply Jaejoong's stern look softened instantly.
"Is there a problem Yunho? Do you want to talk about it?" Jaejoong asked concern shimmering in his brown eyes.
'God....not those eyes again! This man would be the death of me!'
"Um...no...I'm alright Jaejoong really." Yunho said reaching out and patting the slightly shorter man on the head. "Don't worry about me Boo." he assured, giving Jaejoong a sunny smile for good measure. But other still gave him an unconvinced look.
Yunho sighed ,ruffling his hair, he reached out and wrapped his arms around Jaejoong giving him, which he hoped was a manly hug. "
I'm alright Boo. Really. So stop worrying over nothing okay?" he whispered into Jaejoong's ear softly.
Jaejoong then ,surprisingly gave an involuntary shiver.'Odd..' the leader thought feeling Jaejoong's sudden movement.
With another heavy sigh Yunho unwrapped his arms from the smaller man. Surprised to see Jaejoong's flushed cheeks.
'How odd indeed...'
"So umm..." Jaejoong started. "So umm...okay... I'll j-just go and wake up Changmin and the others. I don't want us to be um late" he said not looking at Yunho's eyes.
"Okay Boo. I'll go get dressed." Yunho replied, wondering what got Jaejoong so flustered. 'Was it something I said?'
"Right... so er bye" the lead singer said shortly, scampering away without a backwards glance.
'Whats wrong with him?Did my hug bother him? Or was something else? Does he know I have feelings for him?.
...
Hopefully not.
