Prologue: The Upcoming Invasion

"Could you repeat that again hyung?" Changmin asked blankly, a look of disbelief etched on his youthful face; their manager sighed and looked at the group of men sitting on the couch, a weary look on his face. "I said that you five,” he pointed to each one of them, “Will be hosts to a four year old orphaned boy for a week.”
Silence.
The manager frowned at the lack of response, 'Well at least they didn't protest violently,' he thought peering at each of them while trying to gauge each of their expressions.

First he looked at Yunho. Yunho, ever the child lover, had a smile adorning his handsome face, "I can’t wait." he said quietly, probably thinking of very fun activities for their young guest. The manager breathed a sigh of relief, 'At least I have the leader on my side'

Jaejoong, on the other hand,  was looking thoughtful, ‘I bet he's thinking about the upcoming week's menu to make sure that all the dishes he cooks were all child friendly,’ the manager thought, breathing an internal sigh of relief. “Band Umma” is definitely in!

He shifted his gaze to Yoochun, who was looking worried and sad, ‘Always the sentimental one...’ the manager rolled his eyes. He must be thinking how hard the kid’s life had been since he lost his parents. The third eldest member could pretty much relate to that since he is separated from his family too.

"Could we really take care of a kid?" Yoochun asked no one in particular. "I'm pretty sure you can and could Yoochun ah. You guys are all great with kids." the manager assured in his and-don’t-you dare-argue-with-me-tone,

Then he observed  Junsu, who was already looking excited, an adorable smile was plastered on his cute face, "I'm gonna teach him how to play soccer!" he squealed happily in his high pitched voice.
"Oh please Junsu, we don't need another soccer fanatic in the house. Having you is enough." Jaejoong chuckled. Junsu stuck his tongue out childishly in retaliation.

'Okay I have Yunho, Jaejoong, and Junsu's votes for sure! And I’m pretty damn sure Yoochun would eventually warm up to the idea,' the manager thought happily he was sure since the beginning that these four softies would see things his way. ‘So now, the only member I should be stressing about is…’

"I don't like this." came Changmin's quiet voice.

‘I knew it’ he sighed, scratching the back of his head. "Min," he said, turning to the youngest, "It's only for a week."

"But hyung, that's a full whole week of jam packed schedules! We can’t afford to be watching a kid! We have no time for that kind of foolishness! Heck we barely have time for ourselves and our personal needs!” -Yoochun’s mouth started to twitch- “And don’t you dare give me that perverted sneer Park Yoochun!” Changmin all but growled. He did not understanding why his members were agreeing to all of this crap seeing that they all have very full schedules and personal lives to catch up on! "And you should all know that!" he spat, folding his arms to his chest. “I can’t deal with this bull-”
"Hold on Changmin," the manager said cutting the youngest's upcoming rant. “I have something that I should have given you guys in the beginning before we even discussed this” He slowly took a white, neatly folded piece of paper from his breast pocket. He opened it carefully, and smoothed it out on the coffee table   .

It was a time table, the one that looked exactly like their daily schedule's list but instead of their usual show appearances, interviews, and photo shoots, it was more of an activity guide, a child's activity guide to be exact.

"Han Jinho's schedule?" Junsu read loudly, looking at the bold letters on top of the said schedule. "Is Jinho the kid we’re watching?"

"Bingo." The manager said shortly handing the paper to a still miffed Changmin. "As you can see in that piece of paper, all your schedules were canceled by the company in order for you guys to watch Jinho more closely. They wanted you to at least try to follow the schedule intended for Jinho in that list. Or you could also improvise. Do whatever is convenient for you all in that particular day."

"So you're saying that," Yunho started, examining the schedule now settled in Jaejoong's hands, "We have the full week off?"

"Correct." the manager smiled, delighted to see the look of approval in the leader's face. 'Now no one can argue.' he thought joyfully, patting himself mentally on the back.

"We're doing this." Yunho said shortly in his commanding voice.

Changmin looked affronted, glaring at Yunho's direction on the other side of the couch. "But hyung-" he started.

"No buts Changmin. We are doing this." Yunho replied authoritatively, giving the youngest a steely look.

"FINE!" Changmin said loudly, pouting, and re-crossing his arms childishly.

The manager smirked triumphantly as the members, except for Changmin of course, planned on what they would be doing when Jinho arrives.

"Operation 'Jinho-Moving-Into-The-DBSK-House-For-A-Week' is a success." he whispered his smirk widening.
