author's note: click on title, not lj-cut! this is actually inspired by 1sentence, but as they're on hiatus, i figured i could just come up with my own words and do it! (though, some are stolen from them heh). also, sometimes it can really be ooc? nonetheless, i hope you enjoy all the keo! my most precious otp ♥ please know that this is unbeta'd, lame, cheesy, stupid, all that lmfao.
001. Fingers
sometimes, when they’re eating breakfast and sanghyuk and hongbin are too busy picking a fight with hakyeon, while wonshik looks lost in his own world and about to fall asleep again, jaehwan will feel long, slender fingers intertwine with his own under the table and he’ll always has to hold back laughter because taekwoon’s calm expression, while doing so, never gives away that he’s the romantic one in their relationship.
002. Headphones
the corners of jaehwan's lips pulls upwards into a wide smile that makes his eyes disappear a little, as he peers into the content of taekwoon's shopping bags just to find a brand new pair of earphones and when he asks taekwoon why’d you buy new ones when the old pair is still fine, despite already knowing the reason, the older shrugs, replying with: "you kept complaining about not being able to listen to music with me because i had headphones, so."
003. Failure
taekwoon wakes up this morning with a shrieking wonshik who looks terrified when jaehwan throws a pan in the kitchen sink, burned eggs flying to the floor and suddenly hongbin jumps in to hiss hyung do you know how long it took me to make the floor look this shiny as he picks them up, and, well, taekwoon should've known this would’ve happened when jaehwan promised him a good breakfast yesterday.

"i can’t believe you broke the lamp, lee jaehwan, what the hell were you even doing? did you fly across the room pretending to be super hero? you didn't even clean it afterwards! i came home to see taekwoon clean it up for you instead! while you were sleeping on the couch! and don't give me that look-" hakyeon hisses loudly and rambles on as he points an index finger at jaehwan who puffs up his cheeks in an attempt to pout before he turns his gaze to taekwoon briefly almost shrieking help (and really, it’s unfair, because although he was there and pressed up against the couch, taekwoon was the one who accidentally kicked that stupid lamp to the floor with his long leg while desperately trying to get his jeans off).
005. Guilt
today taekwoon’s mother is going on and on about that girl she adores so much - a friend’s daughter, if he remembers right - and would love to introduce to him once his schedule isn’t so packed and taekwoon can’t bring himself to say no because he likes hearing her happy voice - it’s just that he will have that pool of guilt in his stomach when he looks at jaehwan and thinks about how disappointed his mother will be when she realises it isn’t some girl he wants to spend the rest of his life with.
006. Lip balm
hakyeon has a strawberry flavoured lip balm among his many others that jaehwan steals sometimes, because taekwoon seems to like it a lot, always pulling jaehwan in closer even if all the members are in the dorms, and kisses him longer, too.
007. Trade
nowadays, sanghyuk wakes to his very-chic-taekwoon-hyung gazing down secretly at a sleeping jaehwan, and he also catches secret kisses in the bathroom before breakfast, and without meaning to, he bends down to see hands intertwined under the table when he tries to pick up the spoon that wonshik dropped - sanghyuk really should tell them to stop because soon he'll puke rainbows, but he really likes the smiles on his hyungs's faces, so he figures that it's worth it.
008. Fear
and taekwoon barely makes mistakes, not in singing, not in dancing, not in anything, but sometimes he's a bit afraid that the glances he throws jaehwan will reveal them; that through his eyes, everyone will see how much he wants jaehwan - that is when taekwoon will force himself to look away, but it doesn't last long before he's back to staring.
009. Innocent
taekwoon almost laughs against jaehwan's bare chest as he trails kisses down it and sucks crimson flowers on white, milky skin, when he recalls that one time someone said 'jaehwannie seems so innocent', because now, beneath taekwoon, jaehwan is anything but innocent.
010. Remember
"what do you remember the most from your trainee days?" the interviewer asks and jaehwan has to think after, even if the answer is already on the tip of his tongue - trainee days reminds me of a blank expression i mistook for hate but once it turned into a shy smile i finally realised i had his heart in my palms and also nights staying up holding his hand and - he ends up answering with a 'the memories i created together with my members' instead, and well, that is true, too.
011. Thunder/Lighting
last time, jaehwan had sneaked into wonshik's room to sleep when it was thundering outside, but this time, when he quietly tries to get up (and jumping in the progress as he sees a lighting outside) there are hands that grabs at him to pull him back down instead and jaehwan already decides that this is a better choice when taekwoon drags him closer and whispers 'sleep' against his hair.
012. Happiness
taekwoon throws one glance at vixx and sees happiness; sees their leader's bright and proud smile after so many years of fighting for what he has now; sanghyuk still improving and working hard to get better than he already is; wonshik looks less stressed; hongbin's efforts finally paying off after trading sleep for vocal lessons, but most of all he feels that this is really happiness when he finds jaehwan glancing back at him with the same fondness in his eyes.
013. Falling
it was never meant to be like this, taekwoon thinks one day when he looks down at jaehwan who has fallen asleep with his head on taekwoon's lap, but it is like this - taekwoon and jaehwan and not taekwoon and someone else - because jaehwan had picked the bricks away one by one instead of wanting to break the wall quickly, and taekwoon really had no choice but to let himself fall into jaehwan in the end.
014. Hero
it's a little cheesy, but whenever he's so down he can't even force a smile or crack a joke for the members after a tiring day, taekwoon is always there to pull him in for a warm embrace when there are no cameras on them (without saying a word because he knows that jaehwan, despite how much he himself talks, always likes it better to be comforted in silence) and at those times, taekwoon is almost like a hero to him.
015. Storm
when jaehwan introduces taekwoon to kyungri backstage after their performances, taekwoon almost has to grab his lover's hand in a tighter grip and pull him back a little, because he can almost see kyungri, who is so undeniable beautiful and nice, coming like a storm and sweeping jaehwan away with her (and that, that can't happen, taekwoon can't lose him).
016. Talking
taekwoon talks the least out of them, so jaehwan tends to stay up at night when he can’t sleep, if they haven’t been able to have a proper conversation in a while, just to wait for the moment when taekwoon starts to sleep talking and jaehwan can answer him (no, but really, it’s just that sometimes taekwoon will murmur those three words plus a name and jaehwan is always more than happy to answer with an i love you too.)
017. Pathetic
even if almost everything jaehwan does is considered stupid and lame and dumb by taekwoon, he is the most pathetic when he lies up at nights to talk back to taekwoon sleep talking and even if taekwoon does find it somehow cute, he thinks it's even more creepy.
018. Rain
jaehwan likes to force taekwoon to sit with down with him in the kitchen, each with a cup of warm chocolate or tea when it's raining, even if they should be sleeping, and really, taekwoon doesn't mind (most times, the others will join them and that's fine, too)
019. Moonlight
it's breathtaking, the moonlight on taekwoon's sleeping face, jaehwan thinks as he stares at the man next to him before leaning his head against taekwoon's chest to go back to sleep.
020. Pessimist
"you are such a pessimist," jaehwan whines, clinging onto taekwoon's arm as he juts his lower lip out in a pout, "if you're not going out with me, then i'm going myself."
021. Optimist
and taekwoon knows jaehwan is the biggest optimist out there (why, just why is he dating this guy anyway) but to suggest they 'go out and dance in the rain because it's so romantic you like romantic things right taekwoon-hyung?' at midnight when they have an early schedule tomorrow is just too much so, "no," he says, pulling his arm away to grab jaehwan's hand instead and lead him to the bedroom where hongbin and sanghyuk are sleeping already, "i've got a better idea, and that's to sleep."

it's not like they can go around with couple rings or t-shirts so jaehwan's really disappointed when he forgets that, and buys two couple outfits home just to see taekwoon glare at him, but it's all right in the end, because taekwoon sighs in defeat later that day after jaehwan sulking over dinner and promises that they can wear it, but only at home.

"you seem to like coffee more than me," jaehwan points out, narrowing his eyes at the second iced latte taekwoon's had today, and is absolutely devastated when taekwoon nods with a serious expression.

taekwoon is really tired today-not able to sleep yesterday because someone couldn't stop kicking in sleep-and can barely keep his eyes open when he stumbles to the bathroom, but groans when he finds jaehwan there already and isn't quick enough to escape when the younger pulls him in by the wrist and next thing he knows, he has toothpaste smeared over his cheek and jaehwan is laughing loudly before leaning in for a morning kiss and then hurrying out before taekwoon can his hands around the younger’s throat..
025. Dream
"you were a girl, and you had, um, let me remember… long silky hair! you looked really pretty, hyung! oh, and yeah, we were on a date at the coffee place that you like so much and you always laughed at my jokes, and once you even giggled- wah! hakhyeon-hyung- anyone- help!"
026. Jeans
the new pair of jeans that jaehwan bought last week fits him really well, and taekwoon can't seem to tear his gaze away from jaehwan's ass, and only actually forces himself to do that when sanghyuk leans in and sings "you need to stop checking him out, hyung, the fans will notice" to glare at the maknae.
027. Truth
when the members found out about them, it'd been quiet in the dorm, an awkward and unfamiliar silence hanging in the air, for about five days before wonshik started to mutter things under his breath whenever he glanced at jaehwan and taekwoon all pressed up against each other in the couch when the band was having their movie night, and hongbin snorted when he catched the words once: "they're so disgustingly in love i'm about to throw up."
028. Red
"i really like your new hair colour," jaehwan says tiredly, a small grin on his lips as he runs his fingers through taekwoon's red hair in the car, and taekwoon, eyes closed, smiles back.
029. Stay
hakyeon's expression is not good when he closes the bedroom room behind him with a quiet thud, and he sighs when wonshik asks about the situation, shakes his head, and only gestures for jaehwan to go instead so he does, only to find taekwoon sitting pressed against the wall with arms around his legs, crying - jaehwan doesn't have to know what it is that causes taekwoon to be this way,, all he knows is that when taekwoon looks up and jaehwan asks for approval to stay, it's please please please he sees in the older's eyes and he doesn't hesitate before he hugs taekwoon close.
030. Lazy
it's already noon when jaehwan wakes up, and tries to get out of bed to find out why hakyeon hasn't been yelling loudly at them to wake up earlier - didn't they have an early schedule today? - when strong arms wraps around his waist and pulls him back, and taekwoon he presses light kisses against jaehwan’s shoulder as he lazily murmurs, "hongbin said our first schedule got canceled; don't get up yet."
031. Once
the members are watching the mtv diary again, recalling memories, when they suddenly get to the middle of episode 8 and jaehwan shrieks out loud, jumping up and down in excitement when taekwoon tries to cover his face, and the other members gapes because really, at that time, they never thought much about that hug at all except for the fact that taekwoon had showed affection to jaehwan once - with a back hug instead of punches to his face.
032. Love
jaehwan is already twenty i love yous ahead when taekwoon says his first, but it's okay, because the way taekwoon looks at him as if he's the only one in the world is enough.
033. Scarf
"it's cold today!" jaehwan half-shouts, when taekwoon is already out and waiting for the elevator with the rest, eyebrows furrowed as he pulls taekwoon back inside heir dorm, "you need to wear this," he sings and wraps a scarf around taekwoon's neck, and they both ignore it when hakyeon tells them to hurry out already.
034. Mark
jaehwan's always liked to mark what's his, so it's frustrating when he can't reach out for taekwoon's hand or pull him in closer when they're not behind closed door, but he settles with leaving faint crimson flowers at places on taekwoon's body where others won't be able to see.
035. Bubble
some days taekwoon is like a bubble, ready to burst at any minute and that's when they all try to answer the questions for him if they're appearing on a show or radio program and know better than to push him towards the cameras if there are any around, but at those times, jaehwan's always around with his forever patient smile to make it at least a little bit better.
036. Insecure
beneath layers of foundation and black eyeliner around his eyes that just won't go away no matter how much he rubs and rubs, jaehwan's smile will crack after their tight schedule and they're home at four in the morning and have gone days without sleep; he is human after all, has moments where he seriously detests his nose, it's too big, and thinks he is not, and will never be, enough - taekwoon never allows those thoughts to stay for long, though, because without jaehwan realising it himself, he is already beautiful.
037. Lies
jaehwan hates lying the most, especially when it comes to taekwoon who's so beautiful and lovely in every single way that all jaehwan wants to is tell the world that taekwoon is his, but the mc is stating the famous question - do you have someone you like right now, jaehwan-ssi? - and his mind goes blank for a minute as he throws taekwoon a glance not longer than second, before he puts on a shy smile he’s managed to perfect over the years, "no, i don't."

"oh my gosh, you've started to smell like jaehwan too, dude, have you started to use his shampoo or something? seriously jung taekwoon, just get married and move out and have kids-"

the very first time jaehwan smiles at him, taekwoon swears he sees all kinds of colours behind his eyelids when he closes them later at night, trying to get some sleep after a tiring day of practice.

"the best things in this world are always free," his mother tells him softly, over dinner, when he finally could get some time off to visit them, and taekwoon smiles, nodding a little bit, as he thinks of warm hugs and a wide smile, soft hands, and kisses that makes his heart race around the whole planet, a feeling taekwoon will never be able to explain to his lover because he's never been good with words but hopes that jaehwan understands, anyway, how happy taekwoon is to have him.

it's because taekwoon barely smiles, jaehwan is always the most happy and proud of himself whenever he manages to make taekwoon's eyes disappear into a wide one and that happens more and more these days.

jaehwan likes to call taekwoon just to tell him i love you and even if taekwoon complains, he secretly looks forward to them anyway.
043. Loud/Quiet
despite usually being the loudest out of everyone and not as fans think at all, jaehwan is mostly quiet in bed, all soft moans and quiet pleads for more; those are the only times taekwoon wishes for him to be a little bit louder.

it’s not really something taekwoon would say out loud but, love was when he heard jaehwan sing for the first time, voice soothing yet strong, bouncing between the walls of the practice room and echoing in taekwoon’s head for weeks and months, clinging and lingering like his favourite movie soundtrack - then, now and forever.

months have gone by already but taekwoon still cringes and curls his fingers whenever a memory of himself in a short dress, wig and high-heels standing in front of jaehwan appears; taekwoon has never been able to say no to those puppy eyes, after all.

the best way to soothe jaehwan after a rough day is having taekwoon right next to him, with his ear against taekwoon’s chest because he likes to hear the way his heart beats, while listening to him breathe before falling asleep.

taekwoon is all sudden kisses, always when jaehwan least expects it, and although it’d surprised him a lot in the beginning, he’s already pretty used to it now, so he’s the one surprising taekwoon instead by leaning in before taekwoon can even press their lips together.

“it would be nice if you could be my last love,” jaehwan whispers, sleepy eyes on taekwoon as he intertwines their fingers and tugs taekwoon closer, and taekwoon grins, because they’ve watched way too many dramas (but he cannot deny that he’d like that, too).

in the beginning of their relationship, taekwoon had not promised of forever and jaehwan had not expected any, but now, as taekwoon looks at jaehwan, he really can’t imagine his future with anyone else, so he figures that forever is what he’s willing to give jaehwan, after all.
050. Anniversary
it’s vixx’s sixth anniversary, and the members are all sprawled on the floor, asleep, at five in the morning, but taekwoon drags jaehwan up to the rooftop to let them have their own time together, because after all, it’s their anniversary, too, and even after six years, their hands still fit perfectly together.

when the members found out about them, it'd been quiet in the dorm, an awkward and unfamiliar silence hanging in the air, for about five days before wonshik started to mutter things under his breath whenever he glanced at jaehwan and taekwoon all pressed up against each other in the couch when the band was having their movie night, and hongbin snorted when he catched the words once: "they're so disgustingly in love i'm about to throw up."

"i really like your new hair colour," jaehwan says tiredly, a small grin on his lips as he runs his fingers through taekwoon's red hair in the car, and taekwoon, eyes closed, smiles back.
029. Stay
hakyeon's expression is not good when he closes the bedroom room behind him with a quiet thud, and he sighs when wonshik asks about the situation, shakes his head, and only gestures for jaehwan to go instead so he does, only to find taekwoon sitting pressed against the wall with arms around his legs, crying - jaehwan doesn't have to know what it is that causes taekwoon to be this way,, all he knows is that when taekwoon looks up and jaehwan asks for approval to stay, it's please please please he sees in the older's eyes and he doesn't hesitate before he hugs taekwoon close.
030. Lazy
it's already noon when jaehwan wakes up, and tries to get out of bed to find out why hakyeon hasn't been yelling loudly at them to wake up earlier - didn't they have an early schedule today? - when strong arms wraps around his waist and pulls him back, and taekwoon he presses light kisses against jaehwan’s shoulder as he lazily murmurs, "hongbin said our first schedule got canceled; don't get up yet."
031. Once
the members are watching the mtv diary again, recalling memories, when they suddenly get to the middle of episode 8 and jaehwan shrieks out loud, jumping up and down in excitement when taekwoon tries to cover his face, and the other members gapes because really, at that time, they never thought much about that hug at all except for the fact that taekwoon had showed affection to jaehwan once - with a back hug instead of punches to his face.
032. Love
jaehwan is already twenty i love yous ahead when taekwoon says his first, but it's okay, because the way taekwoon looks at him as if he's the only one in the world is enough.
033. Scarf
"it's cold today!" jaehwan half-shouts, when taekwoon is already out and waiting for the elevator with the rest, eyebrows furrowed as he pulls taekwoon back inside heir dorm, "you need to wear this," he sings and wraps a scarf around taekwoon's neck, and they both ignore it when hakyeon tells them to hurry out already.
034. Mark
jaehwan's always liked to mark what's his, so it's frustrating when he can't reach out for taekwoon's hand or pull him in closer when they're not behind closed door, but he settles with leaving faint crimson flowers at places on taekwoon's body where others won't be able to see.
035. Bubble
some days taekwoon is like a bubble, ready to burst at any minute and that's when they all try to answer the questions for him if they're appearing on a show or radio program and know better than to push him towards the cameras if there are any around, but at those times, jaehwan's always around with his forever patient smile to make it at least a little bit better.
036. Insecure
beneath layers of foundation and black eyeliner around his eyes that just won't go away no matter how much he rubs and rubs, jaehwan's smile will crack after their tight schedule and they're home at four in the morning and have gone days without sleep; he is human after all, has moments where he seriously detests his nose, it's too big, and thinks he is not, and will never be, enough - taekwoon never allows those thoughts to stay for long, though, because without jaehwan realising it himself, he is already beautiful.
037. Lies
jaehwan hates lying the most, especially when it comes to taekwoon who's so beautiful and lovely in every single way that all jaehwan wants to is tell the world that taekwoon is his, but the mc is stating the famous question - do you have someone you like right now, jaehwan-ssi? - and his mind goes blank for a minute as he throws taekwoon a glance not longer than second, before he puts on a shy smile he’s managed to perfect over the years, "no, i don't."

"oh my gosh, you've started to smell like jaehwan too, dude, have you started to use his shampoo or something? seriously jung taekwoon, just get married and move out and have kids-"
039. Colour
the very first time jaehwan smiles at him, taekwoon swears he sees all kinds of colours behind his eyelids when he closes them later at night, trying to get some sleep after a tiring day of practice.
040. Free
"the best things in this world are always free," his mother tells him softly, over dinner, when he finally could get some time off to visit them, and taekwoon smiles, nodding a little bit, as he thinks of warm hugs and a wide smile, soft hands, and kisses that makes his heart race around the whole planet, a feeling taekwoon will never be able to explain to his lover because he's never been good with words but hopes that jaehwan understands, anyway, how happy taekwoon is to have him.
041. Smile
it's because taekwoon barely smiles, jaehwan is always the most happy and proud of himself whenever he manages to make taekwoon's eyes disappear into a wide one and that happens more and more these days.
042. Call
jaehwan likes to call taekwoon just to tell him i love you and even if taekwoon complains, he secretly looks forward to them anyway.
043. Loud/Quiet
despite usually being the loudest out of everyone and not as fans think at all, jaehwan is mostly quiet in bed, all soft moans and quiet pleads for more; those are the only times taekwoon wishes for him to be a little bit louder.
044. First
it’s not really something taekwoon would say out loud but, love was when he heard jaehwan sing for the first time, voice soothing yet strong, bouncing between the walls of the practice room and echoing in taekwoon’s head for weeks and months, clinging and lingering like his favourite movie soundtrack - then, now and forever.
045. Memory
months have gone by already but taekwoon still cringes and curls his fingers whenever a memory of himself in a short dress, wig and high-heels standing in front of jaehwan appears; taekwoon has never been able to say no to those puppy eyes, after all.
046. Breathe
the best way to soothe jaehwan after a rough day is having taekwoon right next to him, with his ear against taekwoon’s chest because he likes to hear the way his heart beats, while listening to him breathe before falling asleep.
047. Surprise
taekwoon is all sudden kisses, always when jaehwan least expects it, and although it’d surprised him a lot in the beginning, he’s already pretty used to it now, so he’s the one surprising taekwoon instead by leaning in before taekwoon can even press their lips together.
048. Last
“it would be nice if you could be my last love,” jaehwan whispers, sleepy eyes on taekwoon as he intertwines their fingers and tugs taekwoon closer, and taekwoon grins, because they’ve watched way too many dramas (but he cannot deny that he’d like that, too).
049. Forever
in the beginning of their relationship, taekwoon had not promised of forever and jaehwan had not expected any, but now, as taekwoon looks at jaehwan, he really can’t imagine his future with anyone else, so he figures that forever is what he’s willing to give jaehwan, after all.
050. Anniversary
it’s vixx’s sixth anniversary, and the members are all sprawled on the floor, asleep, at five in the morning, but taekwoon drags jaehwan up to the rooftop to let them have their own time together, because after all, it’s their anniversary, too, and even after six years, their hands still fit perfectly together.
