"Baba Yetu," the title theme from Civilization IV, is the first video game song in history to be nominated for a Grammy Award.
Saw it performed twice in person, once by the Los Angeles Philharmonic and another by the San Diego Symphony. It's always been one of my favorites, so this development pleases me greatly.
