I know it's been ages, but at least I have something fun to post about.
Shivam and I are in Italy right now. Yes, Italy.
Holy crud this place is awesome!!!
Gelato will never be the same again! A place in Venice called Chocolat now holds my highest regard for their home made, ridiculously rich, creamy and delicious stracciatella. Bless them for making it, curse them for making me want it forever and not being able to get it.
Florence - snazzy place. Very old and very new. Things are....bigger than I thought they would be. The buildings just tower over you. Awesome. Antico Noè holds the place of honor for most excellent panini. Frickin' amazing. Randomly stumbled upon a pure vegetarian/vegan restaurant and ate dinner there tonight. Felt very SF/Berkeley. Good food. Very good food.
Off to Tuscany region tomorrow.
