I love oranges.
Every year, when the Lunar New Year comes around, the oranges are at their best.
And they're everywhere in Chinatown. Some are big and some are small, some are expensive and some are cheap; it all depends on where you look.
I've lost count on how many I've eaten already but, can you really blame me?
On my way home after work, I passed by a stand with the biggest oranges of the season. And cheap. Before I realized it, I already had half a dozen in a red bag and walking home. Talk about being a glutton...
Just this morning I opened the bag, looking forward to have one after breakfast, but...
"... where's the sixth orange?!" I thought.
I'm sure I had six in the bag. And the vendor checked too. There's no hole in the bag and I certainly didn't eat any last night. So there's no way one should be missing.
... Blast.
"Ah well, I guess I should just put them out..."
Maybe it'll appear if I don't look?
...
... Riiiiight.
Seriously though, I should be cleaning up my room now instead of thinking about these things. Although it is a bit amusing. Now, where would it roll to...?

Yes, silly, I know. But it was lots of fun.
Meet Allegretto, the Happy Orange Head. Al, for short. His little (biiiig!) smile is capable of shoo-ing even the weirdest of bad moods around here.
He arrived back in
November, but as you can see... I kinda needed oranges for his little intro photostory. A shame I'm still waiting for his green eyes, but this was too good a season to pass.
Infinite thanks to
aree for bringing this little troublemaker into the family.
The awesomely cute orange-motif t-shirt and orange shorts are courtesy of spampy. Wig from DD-Anne and styled by moi. :D
Now, where should I hide the Pocky and sweets...?
PD: And happy "valentine's" day! ... wut? The 15th day after Lunar New Year (that is, today) is considered "valentine's" by the chinese. Or rather, the Matchmaking Day. :P
