Changmin just got home after a hectic tvxq concert. He is so tired. He can't wait to eat the warm food prepared by his lover and then snuggled close to him until they both fall asleep. But as soon as he entered the house instead of being welcomed by his pretty lover he got barked by a puppy.
A puppy?! We don't have any puppy.
When Changmin was lost in his thought the cute puppy was running towards him. It almost bit the man but fortunately Changmin ran away.
"Jae help meeee!!!"
Hearing his scream Jaejoong came out of the kitchen wiping his hands

"Hiro! No... Don't do that."
Hearing orders from his master Hiro stopped barking and looked at Jaejoong innocently.
"Awww my babyyy! Isn't he cute Min?"
"Hiro?"
"Yeah... Do you like his name? I named him."
"You named a dog after your name?"
"He'll be my hero and protect me from all the bad people.. that's why I named him Hiro."
"Wait! Whose dog is it?"
"Mine... I adopted him today. Oh Min!!! Look at him.. Hes so cute."
Jaejoong said while rubbing the puppy in his arms lovingly and kissing it. Changmin just gave a disgusted look and went to room to change his clothes.
When Changmin was served dinner he was shocked to see that Jaejoong only cooked rice and kimchi jiggae. But his lover always made his favorite chicken curry whenever he had hectic schedule. Then why only kimchi jiggae today? He pouted. But was his lover playing any attention to him? No.. He was too busy playing with his so called "Hero."
"No chicken?"
"Oh baby.. I am so sorry... I did prepare fried chicken for you.. But Hiro was too hungry.. He ate them all... I'll make fried chicken tomorrow for
Hiro... I'll make some extra for you okay?"
WHAT? Did he hear that right? Jaejoong will make fried chicken for Hiro.. NOT FOR HIM. FOR HIRO. Does that even make sense?
"You know what? Don't bother. Cook something else for me."
"But you like my fried chicken Min."
"I don't like it anymore."
"From when?"
"FROM TODAY. NOW LET ME EAT IN PEACE AND TAKE THAT THING AWAY FROM ME WHO ATE MY CHICKEN."
Changmin yelled and hearing that the puppy started barking.
"It's ok baby.. Calm down. Changmin see what have you done? You hurt his feelings."
"I HAVE HURT HIS FEELINGS? WHAT ABOUT MY FEELINGS? HE ATE MY FRIED CHICKEN."
"But you just said you don't like fried chicken anymore."
"STILL... IT WAS MINE."
The puppy ran off Jaejoong's arms and ran to the man who kept yelling at his master to bite him. Changmin was shocked so he pushed his chair backwards a little harder which made him fall. Soon the room was filled with his groans of pain, Jaejoong's laughter and Hiro's barks.

When they were in bed a few hours later Changmin wanted to hold Jaejoong in his arms. He really had a tiring day and only Jaejoong could make him comfortable stroking his hair. Thats what Jaejoong always do but unfortunately today was a really bad day for the younger male. Instead of comforting him his lover was cuddling with his new pet. He even had his back towards Changmin. He was too tired to say anything so he just sighed and closed his eyes and he drifted off to dreamland in no time bcz of his tiredness. But that was not a peaceful sleep as he had nightmares of a huge puppy trying to swallow him.

Next morning Changmin woke up to his lover's lovely voice and giggles.
"Hahaha.. no baby... stop.. hahaha.. it tickles..."
But I haven't started doing anything yet baby.
Changmin thought with his eyes closed still half asleep. Normally in the morning the younger male wakes his lover up with kisses all over the body which later leads to their morning love making. But its still early. The younger man wants to sleep some more. But how could he when his lover was being loud.
"haha.. Stop... or I won't give u any food.. Hahaha.. Ahh Hiro..."
Hearing the name Changmin's eyes snapped open. Why was his lover taking his pet's name while giggling and moaning like that. Most importantly he was saying the same things to the dog that he says to the younger man. WHAT THE HELL!!!
Changmin turned back and saw his lover's face being licked by the puppy. He groaned and ruffled his own hair in frustration.
"Ugggh!!"
"Oh Min you are up... I'll go and prepare your breakfast."
Jaejoong got out of the bed with Hiro on his arms but before he could go any farther Changmin held his hand.
"No love making."
"Not today baby... Hiro is hungry.. I need to feed him. I'd give you a kiss but this naughty boy has liked me and I have his salive all over my face so I'll kiss you later hmm?"
With that the older man left the room leaving a surprised Changmin on the bed.

Days went like that. Changmin was getting ignored by his lover most of the time because of that pet. He was getting used to it. But then Jaejoong's obsession with the dog got worse day by day.
One night during his Japan tour Changmin was missing Jaejoong too much. He thought his lover might be missing him too considering the fact that they haven't met each other in a week and haven't talked for the last two days. So he dialled his lover's number and he was kind of surprised to hear the cheerful voice on the other line. Normally when Changmin is away from him the older man will always sound sad and whine to him to go back as soon as possible. But today was exceptional.
"Minnnn! You called."
"Yeah... I miss you baby."
"Aww! I miss you too."
He said too. Not more. Sighh.
"You sound happy. What are you doing? Junsu and Yoochun hyung are with you?"
"No.. They both are busy."
"Oh... You must feel lonely then"
"Not really. Hiro keeps me entertained. In fact he is the reason I am happy right now. He just learned how to back flip. Isn't that amazing Min?"
"Ahh... Yeah... I guess so.. Ok listen I gotta go now. I'll call u later okay?"
Changmin hung up. He called his lover to let him know that he misses Jaejoong not to hear rants about the new pet. He felt sad. Before his lover only talked about him... How much he missed him.. How he is waiting with his favorite food... how he misses the taller man while sleeping..But now its all about Hiro. Its like that pet is taking his place in Jaejoong's life. Changmin could only sigh.

The day Changmin returned from Japan he was so tired that he crushed in the bed as soon as he got home. In the morning he woke up at 11 a.m. and he saw his lover all dressed up.
"Going somewhere?"
"Ahh.. Yeah... Going to the recording office. There was some problem with one of my recording for the new album I need to check it. Your breakfast and lunch are ready on the table. Just heat it before eating. I'll be back before evening."
While listening to his lover he noticed the new pet looking at them innocently. As much as he disliked the puppy his lover totally loved it so he has to take care of Hiro too.
"What about him? What should I gove him for lunch?"
"Oh.. Don't worry about Hiro. I am taking him with me."
"Ohh..."
It hurts.. Yes Changmin was hurt. Jae had pets before too. Whenever he went out for work the younger man took care of them. But Jaejoong didn't trust him with Hiro. Why? He kept replaying Jaejoong's actions for the last few weeks. Ever since Hiro has come to Jaejoong's life he had kind of become distant with Changmin. No longer the older man whined to his lover how much he missed him... How long he waited for him... How lonely he felt... He was happy with his Hiro. Why wouldn't he be? Hiro listened to each and every single word of Jaejoong where as Changmin got annoyed and sometime argues with Jaejoong for this and that. His lover had Hiro 24*7 while he could hardly give Jaejoong time because of his busy schedule. So it's okay right? It's okay if Jaejoong loves Hiro more. Then why was he jealous? As long as it's not another man he doesn't have to feel insecure right?
He kept having these useless thoughts while eating breakfast. At times he felt like crying. Because it was partially his fault that his lover loved a dog more than him now. He lost his appetite and skipped lunch.
When Jaejoong came back in the evening he found his lover on the bed in same sleeping wears and without shower. Even his lunch was untouched. He got worried thinking his lover was sick.
"Min... Are you ok? Are you sick?"
His younger lover faced him and he could see other's red eyes.
"hey baby... what happened? Is everuthing ok?"
"You love him more than me.. Don't you?"
"Love? More than you? Who are you talking about?"
"Tell me honestly Jaejoong."
"Changmin I have no idea what you are saying... Can you please explain?"
"Hiro... You love him more than me. Don't you?"

"It's ok Jae... I understand. I don't give attention to you the way Hiro does... I don't spend time with you like he does... I can't make you happy like he does... He deserves your love more. I know... I understand..."
"SHIM CHANGMIN! WHAT KIND OF NONSENSE IS THIS? WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?"
"Its okay Jae... Really... Just admit it... I know I am at fault for letting someone else take my position in your heart. But I'll still be your 2nd favorite right?"
"Changmin... Did you hit your head somewhere? What happened to the smarty pant huh? Do you have any idea how ridiculous you sound right now?"
Jaejoong sighed.. and cupped Changmin's face and made him turn to face himself.
"Look at me. Hiro is just a PET. He's a pet Min. He can never ever take your place in my heart. Not just Hiro.. No one... No other living creature on this whole universe can take your place. I love you Shim Changmin... and only you... Do you hear that? What made you think I love Hiro more than you?"
"You don't whine to me like before anymore... I miss your whining."
Jaejoong could only face palm hearing Min's reason.
"I just didn't want to bother you anymore Min. I know how busy you are and how hard you have to work... And afer all that you had to listen to my annoying whines... I felt pity for you... So I though if I keep myself busy with a new pet you'll be at peace. I didn't know you would take it this way. Is that it?"
"No... There's more... In the past you have left Jiji with me and I took good care of her for you.. Didn't I?"
Jaejoong nodded.
"Then why didn't you trust me with Hiro? Why did you take him with you instead of leaving him with me?"
"That's because I know you guys haven't become friends yet... hich means Hiro could hurt you anytime... Don't you remember how many times he had tried to bite you Min? It could be hard for you to manage him... And you looked so tired... I just wanted you to hae some rest... But the main reason I tollk him with me is because I wanted to drop him off at my sister's place for a few days."
"Ehh? You didn't bring him back with you?" - Changmin asked and searched the room for the puppy but he wasn't there.
"No.. I left it at my sister's place for a few days."
"Why?"
"Why? Do you miss him now?"
"No... It's just you love him so much... I thought you couldn't live without him."
Changmin scratched the back of his neck fooloshly which made Jaejoong giggle.
"I can live without him... But I am surely going to die if this stupid lover of mine doesn't make love to me tonight."
Jaejoong sat on the younger man's lap and put his arms around the other's neck while saying it.
"Look who is taking... Now you want sex? Where were you when I was dying to have some sexy time with you? You were always busy with your "HIRO"."
"Oh come on Changmin... I couldn't have sex in front of him..."
