Friday!!
As if there hasn't been enough vacation time lately, here I am excited that it's Friday. Perhaps because I am feeling about a gazillion times better?? I'd asked several people to pray for my back, as well as continuing myself. Something happened yesterday that's never happened. I went to get up from my horizontal position on the couch when I heard and felt *pop*pop*pop* and the intense pain went *poof*!! I called mom and told her but shared how it wasn't quite final because I still felt like my hips were rotated (don't ask, but it's pretty obvious when you look at me. Scoliosis is evil) About an hour later I still felt that way and kind of shifted to get a bit more relief when a final *POP* happened and there it was back in place! I've struggled with this issue for, well... at least 7 years now and this has never happened before. I'm still sore from days of being in pain, but praise God, he fixed me. Again!
Then last night we did the ultimate in parenting meanness. We took the two who are always at each other's throats (Zoe and Evan), and put them in the same bedroom together, giving Kyra her own room for the first time in her life. So we have one very ecstaticly happy seven year old and two rather irritated inmates. I hope it accomplishes two things: gives the girls a break from each other (they're 16 months apart and have always been cramped in together) and teaches compromise and responsibility to the two who need to learn those lessons. In the meantime, pray that our house stands up through it all. :-)
I'm due for cardio again today and I think I might just give it a go.
