U know, they stopped posting the crime statistics by area in October 2006. They used to collect 4 week data and post it. Hmm? We have reports of people being discouraged from reporting crimes, "Well, yes he put a gun in your ribs, but you're o.k., he just got a little money, right?" So, whatever statistical analysis there is, it amounts to something like, lies, lies, and damn lies...

Not real hopeful, especially with the growing consensus that one day this whole damn area will be under water, and that we're in for a helluva hurricane season.
