I was inspired to posting it by bellis_naemar posting her response to this prompt. Go read hers, it's a very nice 221B drabble.
I, on the other hand, did not manage the exact 100 words here, but I did not want to shorten it. Let's just pretend it 's 100, all right?

72. Photograph
I have kept every newspaper article concerning my dear friend, especially the few featuring a photograph. It always struck me as strange that a man of such dramatic talent should hold so little regard for this form of art.
Once Holmes had remarked that photographs showed only pretence, not reality, but I desperately wished for a photograph of both of us, and maybe Mrs Hudson, or Mycroft, especially after my friend's alleged death.
This wish did not waver even after Holmes's sudden return, when I again saw him on daily basis.
As I mentioned the subject to him, he, much to my surprise, quietly consented after just a moment of deep silence and thought.
