You know, you probably ought to have a bit of a confrontation with Celia. She needs to learn some things about management, and making her employees cry is *not* effective management.

Okay...You know that I feel Celia was a VERY POOR choice for this position. That may bias me...heh. Anyway, you have the right, nay the responsibility, to take your grievances to your management...especially with her. But you know me, I was one for pointing out when management crossed a line in its treatment of their staff.

Celia needs to grasp the importance of her role and how she needs to go above and beyond the other PMs. I'm sorry, but she's a woman in a man's role and she needs to challenge herself to be a better manager. If she slacks off and screws up, then she makes it hard for other women in the office. (The male "I told you so" syndrome will take hold). It may be unfair, but it is reality. I learned this valuable lesson in the military.

And she absolutely does not get to make you cry!!!!! Tell her if she does it again, I will drive down there and "set her straight"!
