Lessee. The first weekend of September (the 2nd & 3rd) was great. Friday the 1st I went to a birthday/new job/farewell/welcome-home party. There were like five guests of honor, with two birthdays, one person back from the military, one person starting a new career, and one leaving an old job. Then Saturday I got fitted in the dress for
sandrayln's wedding.

Job is good. I've been crazy busy since the day I got there. I was forced to slow the hell down today, unfortunately, because I'm sick as a dawg. :( You know me... go go go until I'm knocked flat out and force to stop and catch my breath. (If only that were literally possible today!).
Anyhow, I'm doing a ton of logistics and project management stuff currently. They grew very very quickly, 40% a year for the 12 years they've been in business. Because of that, they didn't really have an effective infrastructure in place for everything. They kick butt when it comes to a diverse and interesting product line. They have a huge contract work sideline, and several sub-companies. But things like advertising and trade shows sneak up on them, so I'm doing a ton of work to get a process in place so they don't have to run pick ups for their ads, etc. We have a nice advertising budget, good placement, etc. No point in wasting those nice spots with old ads!
I love the house. I haven't gotten much better at making time to stop and clean. At least it doesn't put the entire house in a chokehold in this one though!
I used to buy fabric from a place online at great prices. I'll have to try to figure out the name though... It's been so long!
Dharma Trading Company always had great stuff, but you have to dye it yourself (which they sell as well). It's probably worth having them send you out a catalog
More later... I need to find some advil or something before my head pops!

Interesting about Dharma Trading Co - I found them just the other day while searching for a company that would sell me a good number of fabric swatches. They have an awesome deal for that. I didn't know they sold their stuff undyed, though. I guess I ought to read their other info, heh.
If you find that other place, let me know. I'd like to have quite a bit of velveteen on hand, as it's a really useful fabric in costuming, heh.

Phoenix Textiles. Great people to deal with, good deals. Not much in the way of velveteen right now though...

On a completely unrelated topic - what is the name of that mechanic that yall use that's located on Mill Street? My car is in big need of it's 100k mile update, and it's been acting a little off, poor thing.
