There are all kinds of people in the world.
I spent yesterday finding out exactly what kind of people my co-workers and my manager are really like. The answer is dishonest and selfish. Not that that comes as a big surprise. The last two weeks were pretty much a write-off in terms of the character of these women.
Right now I'm watching Anderson Live. He just did a piece on some people in New Jersey who have electricity in their homes and who have set up stations with extension cords and power bars, so that people who need to charge their cell phones can do so right there. There are other acts of kindness shown to victims of Sandy on the East Coast of the U.S. and Canada that prove there are still decent people in this world.
It's good to know because I cried myself to sleep last night thinking that everyone is a liar and completely untrustworthy. Even though I know better it all came crashing down on me at work yesterday during a simple meeting designed to find a solution to my problem with fragrances. Sounds simple, right? Well, all it proved was that two of my co-workers are big stinking liars and my manager hates me. She doesn't even know me, but she believes the lies these two freaks tell her.
If I had a lot more money in my savings account I would walk away from that hell hole. So many people have been leaving lately, taking early retirement or making plans to leave within the year. If I had someone to help foot the bills I'd be gone from there this weekend. It's my weekend off but it so far from enough time away from there.
I'm just exhausted and so very unhappy.
