oh wow!
Someone broke into our house and stole my 3 month old laptop, my sister's Motorola cellphone + 3K cash, my Mom and Dad's jewelries. Great. Just great.
So I'm back to basics. I'm here at my sister's house using their PC. I couldn't use our PC because it's.... slower than a snail. Dammit. *sigh*
But just as I've said on FB, there's no use getting upset over something that you can't get back. They stole it. We reported it. It's not like we're relying on the police whatsoever but it's not something we have to regret for the rest of our lives. Besides, I don't like to think about it as much because all blame will point to my Dad. And he's already feeling sorry about it. I don't want to add more salt to the wound. And I know up to this time, he can't help blaming himself. I don't want him to feel worst than he's already feeling. Let's just move on.
Because at the end of the day, what matters most is that no one got hurt. There were 3 people in the house last night. My Mom, Dad and elder sister. I was out because I was at work, I have night shift. We all think that the perpetrator used some kind of spray to make them fall into a deep sleep. Because noone felt a thing. My Mom is a light sleeper and she didn't feel anyone went inside the house. She woke up around 5am and noticed that my laptop was missing in my room so she woke my sister and asked about it. My Mom thought Yden brought it to her room since she's using it till late last night, around 2am. My sister was oblivious. I mean, she's been asked a question just after a few hours of sleep so she had no idea what my Mom was talking about. And when it sank in.. she realized that her Motorola phone was missing too. She checked her wallet and 3K worth of money was missing too. *sigh* And by the way, we all think the thief/thieves used a spray because even our dog didn't bark. Luffy, our dog, is one hell of a sensitive dog. It can sense someone, some other animal even if it's 2 blocks away. [That's why my Mom hates the dog at times] And... Luffy didn't make a single sound last night. Even if the thieves were someone he knew, he would make at least a sound, excite bark since he's been locked up and he gets excited when someone he knew goes to visit him. [LMAO, sorry I refer to the dog as 'he' 'him'.. i feel weird calling the dog.. 'it']
Ugh. I thought I wasn't going to dwell on that anymore. =| Ok. I didn't freak out, much. I mean, it's not like I can do something if I do right? So I just accepted it as it is. I can't even imagine what I'd do to myself if the thieves hurt anyone from my family. And at least they didn't broke into my eldest sister's house, which is just beside ours. My eldest sister was with the kids, my bro-in-law was in the hospital. So I can't even begin to imagine.... =( That, if anything happened to them, expect me to freak out and lash on anyone who stands on my way. =X
And I did tell this to my sister Yden, if ever those thieves (we assume there's at least 2 of them) took any of my DBSK collections... I would definitely go lash out on anyone! ANYONE. I paid big amount of money for those items and if ever they did touch it.. all hell's gonna break loose! I swear~ =X
But... good thing they didn't think it's 'that' important. Hmmmp... THEY ARE IMPORTANT. They can sell those goodies. Some of them are already out of print. LMAO. OK STOP.
But the point is, I'm glad no one's harmed. Let's move on. I'll just buy a new laptop before my birthday this year. All set. Move on!
