Summary: Jaejoong and Yunho are lovers who met through one of Yunho’s business trips. While Jaejoong lives in Busan, Yunho lives in Seoul and yet the distance isn’t what seems to be an obstacle in their love. Although both are too in love, things turn rocky when some of their promises are forced to be broken and Jaejoong is left with a shattered heart yet a strong sense of love. What happens when they must face reality and those around them. When there are hard options to choose from and beliefs to follow. Will they both fight for one another? Or will they take different roads.

Yunho.

Jaejoong sighed as he looked at the screen of his phone. The light smile on his lips was enough to show the contentment the man was feeling in the inside.

*I’ll be there on Tuesday. Wait for me. I love You…*

He couldn’t help but get excited over the fact that he would see him again.

His best friend.

His companion.

His lover.

Yunnie is coming back.

Repeating that statement inside his head still seemed unbelievable to him.

“Yunho is coming back.” He whispered out loud to make sure of the fact.

“He’s coming back.” Jaejoong repeated a little louder once more. And he couldn’t help but laugh; out of nervousness, happiness, and excitement.

Grabbing the phone from the table where it was lying now he clutched it close to his chest after skimming through the message once more and stood up turning around unaware of what to do. The excessive energy this message was able to stir him was something he needed to wear down.

With that he looked through his contacts and knew exactly what he had to do in order to get ready for his lovers return.

“He’s coming back” he told the other on the phone.

“Huh who is? What are you talking about Jae?”

“Yunho.”

That was all that needed to be said to make the other realize just exactly what topic they were talking about.

“Jaejoong are you two finally getting married?” Kibum couldn’t help but ask.

“I think so” Jaejoong whispered.

“You know what he told me Kibum…that once he came back...he would take me with him, and never let me come back to Busan”

“Hyung-”

“That I will meet his family and that his parents would love me the same way they love his brother in law. Bummie I’m happy that he has a such a nice and big family that I’ll be a part of soon.”

“Jaejoong…”

“He wants us to get married in Seoul, his family is there Kibum and honestly who am I to say no? I have no family…I can understand why he would want this, and I want to share my happiness with the people who will also become my family.”

As always Jaejoong was thinking about others before himself and Kibum couldn’t help but sigh. He knew Jaejoong was in love with Yunho…that his friend had fallen too deeply for the other man, and Kibum could see that…he just didn’t want for his friend to get hurt.

“But Jae…Seoul is so far away…and…what about me? Aren’t I your best friend?”

Jaejoong laughed couldn’t help but chuckle at his friends comment. He could almost see the pout that was surely decorating his friends face. He knew Kibum so well and the same could be said vice versa.

“Kibum you wouldn’t miss my wedding for anything! And it doesn’t matter where I am at. Whether it be Seoul or all the way on the other side of the world. Us being best friends will never change.”

“I know…” hearing the doubt in the other’s voice Jaejoong smiled once more as he knew the exact way to cheer up his sulking friend.

“I love you Bummie!” cooed Jaejoong the same way he would to an infant. “You know that right, right? Aww my dongsaeng is going to miss his bestestest friend!” He stopped in time to hear the protests from the one on the other line at being treated as a baby.

“You do know that right Kibum…I love you like my little brother…You’ve always been there for me in everything! And you’re one the few people I care about so much.”

“Yeah the very few people you care about, but not more than Yunho. Aish hyung I guess I’ll have to work much harder now to go visit you in Seoul huh? *sigh*But once I’m there don’t think you can get rid of me so easily! Okay!” stated Kibum.

“Yeah dongsaeng you’re going to be leeching of off me and Yunho hahaha”….

“Yah”…..

“God we’ll never get rid of you!”…..

Through their endless silly argument similar to those they had each day which contained of nothing but teasing the other, Jaejoong couldn’t help but think about his life. About all the decisions he had been forced to take on his own. But which had led him down a road he was glad he chose. He was happy with the way his life was turning out. The way everything had seemed to turn right as soon as he had met Jung Yunho. The way in which this man had changed everything for the good and would change his future for the better. It was true there was always light at the end of a tunnel.

I love you Yunho…he smiled as he shifted his attention to the other who was still talking over the phone.

It wasn’t hard to know the reasons as to why Kibum was his best friend. The answer was simple he just was.

All he had to do now was wait until Tuesday to see his love again. That would prove hard to do.

His family was standing all around him wishing him luck on his trip.

He hugged his mother for the tenth time as she clung to him not wanting to let go of her son.

“I’ll be back soon umma” he whispered to her as tears were evident on his mother’s face.

“Yah Yunho you should go soon bro. Your flight leaves soon.”

Yunho turned towards the voice of his older brother Yoochun who was standing there looking at him with a knowing smile. He returned the smile with one of his own as he knew his brother was trying to help him with getting his mother off of him.

“Yoochun is right.” The rough voice of his father broke the eye contact between the two.

“Honey let go of your son. You’re acting as if he hasn’t gone on a business trip before.  Yunho will be back in two weeks.”

“Umma the faster you let him go the faster he can come back!” piped Jihye the youngest of the family as well as the only girl.

“That makes no sense Ji it’ll still take him two weeks to come back.” Stated Changmin.

“Oppa shut up!”

Yunho chuckled at his dongsaengs behavior. Although Changmin was older than their sister Yunho couldn’t help but think that his intelligence sometimes made him seem the same age as Jihye’s.

“Umma I’ll be back soon! And I’ll bring you a lot of things from Busan” he assured his mother as he leaned down to kiss her cheek.

“Oh my baby boy!” Mrs. Jung exclaimed as she cupped her son’s face with both her hands. “Just come back safely okay honey!”

“Hmm I will!” he replied

“Yunho…Chun was right you should hurry.” Said Junsu, Yoochuns husband or wife as his brother corrected him over and over again.

“You’re right Su”

*cough* *cough*

Yunho turned to eye Yoochun obviously getting the message.

“You’re right Junsu.” Yunho corrected himself as he saw his brother in laws face turn a bright red and his brothers smug smile.

He felt a sudden tug on his leg and as he looked down he saw his little 7 year old niece with her arms wrapped around his legs. He bent down to pick her up after making his unwilling mother let go of him.

“Yes Sun?’”

“Uncle Yunho where are you going?” the little girl asked curiously while being carried by her uncle.

He smiled at her and pecked her cheek.

“I’m going to Busan honey. But I’ll bring you lots and lots of presents okay?”

“Uhuh” she nodded. She leaned towards her uncle’s ear to whisper to him not wanting to be heard by the others.

“Uncle Yunho. You’re going to bring your pretty friend from the TV right?” He laughed as he heard his nieces’ question. After she had seen Jaejoong trough web chat it seemed as if his niece had grown a big crush towards the pretty male. And Yunho couldn’t help but think that no one could resist the other’s beauty that only showed a glimpse to the really beauty Jaejoong had on the inside.

“Maybe honey we’ll see” he whispered back to the other little girl who giggled in response.

“Baby come to appa. Your uncle has to leave” said Yoochun who beckoned his daughter to come over to him.

“Put her down Yunho or you will definitely be late.”

“yeah yeah” he muttered as he placed one last kiss on his nieces cheek and put her down not before ruffling her hair.

“No no no” the little girl shrieked removing her uncle’s hand from her hair for he was messing up her pretty hairdo her mother had done on her.

Everyone laughed as Yoochun called his daughter to her once more arms outstretched ready to carry her.

“Umma! Do my hair again!” she exclaimed running straight into Junsu’s arms past her father.

“Sunhee I’ll do your hair in a while okay baby.” He assured as he hugged his daughter tightly rocking her back and forth. A dejected Yoochun walking next to them only to put his arms around his wife’s waist and place a kiss on his neck.

That’ll be me and Jae soon…our own happy family.

Yunho picked up his suitcases as he walked towards the main door bidding his family one last farewell.

“Son call me when you get to Busan. Remember you have a business meeting tomorrow morning. Don’t sign the contract with Siwon unless you make sure it’s the best for us. I trust you Yunho. You’re a Jung so you should know what to do.”

“Yes father.” He replied as he gave him one last hug.

“Are you taking your car or-”

“Chauffer it’d be better than leaving my car at the airport until my return.”

“You’re right.”

The ride to the airport was short. And once he was on the plane there was only one thought going through his head.

I’m on my way Jaejoong…
