After finishing 4 wedding videos for a friend I finally found an extra time to write the 2nd part of my BKK trip.

December 14, 2007, Thursday - CONCERT DAY!
2 hours spazzing about the global party as well as the dong bang boys meant retiring at 3:00 am. This leaves us 4 hours of sleep as we have to be down at 9 for breakfast coz our van pick up is scheduled for 10am.
A pose before going to Impact. ^^
The ride to Impact Arena took 40 minutes so we got there before 11 am. We already saw a substantial number of fans but we opted to go around coz there's no definite instructions yet on which gates should we use.
Mitzi and I camped at Starbucks while the rest roamed around the Impact Trade fair. Maricar and Miki got to take a picture with a real elephant.
It was already past 12 when we headed back to the Arena armed with bottled drinking water.
We finally saw a posted diagram of the arena indicating the gate assignments for each type of ticket. The AR side will be in Gate 4 and we had to leave Miki behind since she's the only one in AL (exchanged her original AR ticket with Mitzi's coz she wants to be on Chunnie's side). The gates were opened at 2 PM so the sun feasted on our skin for almost 2 hours. I can feel the heat scorching through my newly bought sketchers. Not only that...all the money I spent on those whitening soaps were WASTED! I kept saying that this will be my first and my last concert while Mitzi tried to make me feel better by saying that we are doing this all for the love of Joongie bebe.
When we got in we ran straight to the concert goods booth and bought a few stuff like posters, concert books, shirts and glow sticks. We then noticed the stage put up by Yamaha. There is also a life sized cardboard stand up of the boys in their O attire. Like a typical fangirl all of us had our picture taken with it. A boy group performed Rising Sun and O while I think the guys who cos-played at the global party is also performing Balloons.
The girl between Laila and me is Thai whom we just met at the venue (sorry can't remember her name but I have it in my bag somewhere. i really need to email her soon). She approached us to ask how we were able to roll the poster into a smaller size and have an extra handle.
After some light lunch we proceeded to line up for the final entrane gate. A long and wide line of gals greeted us so we were very far behind. I think it was around 4 pm when there was a comotion announcing the boys' arrival. Yeah, perfect timing. Jae arriving with my eyebrows already half erased. We stayed put coz we don't want to end up farther than where we were. The security and organizers really did an awful job with this one. Our lines were rearranged several times...good thing we up nearer to the gate everytime this happens. (that's how good we were!)
Michelle was so right...the fans arrive late and they just shove and push their way until they get to the spot they want. It's amazing how they swiftly cut into a line. Anyways we sat on the floor for 4 hours (i think the arena floor were wiped clean by thousands of butts there). We got entertained by a parade of huge TVXQ banners and this is my favorite.
The artist did an amazing job with photoshopping the boys' heads into those boxers' bodies.
Our toughest ordeal began when they started letting us in. The line got broken or got messed up through shoving and I was so afraid on ending up flat faced on the floor. I was so scared that a stampede might happen. Would you believe that all that time I'm was still trying to protect the 3 posters I bought by lifting it up high? The security head was so disappointed with the crowd and I was so sure he was swearing at all of us.
We were in the second batch but Maricar got left behind. After us they let the fans go one by one (as in literally). Maricar pleaded with the security to let her go in coz all of us are already inside and she's the only one left there from the group. Good thing he was kind enough to let her in. We breathed a heavy sigh of relief when we finally saw the stage.
I was so sweaty and I already smell differently. Again, I said this will be my first and last concert. Mitzi had me laughing when she said that we're already too old for this kind of thing. I'm thankful she said it in "tagalog" coz right behind us are japanese ajummas. Would you believe that a little later these were slightly pushing Mitzi and here I thought that they were all tamed (well, i guess there's always an exception in everything). But again, Mitzi in one of her antics said "In fairness, we look like 16 year olds beside them". I blurted out a very hearty laugh. But seriously, I want to go to Japan! :P
I'm putting Mitzi's pics coz I forgot to have my solo pic taken. ^^
We had to wait for 45 minutes before the concert started. And just the opening video alone is just enough to make up for all the troubles we had to go through. I felt giddy watching it because Jae seemed to be the leading character in the clip. The screams were so loud I can't even hear myself. And it got even louder when the boys elevated up for the Phantom performance.
For the first 5 minutes I only looked at Jae...I think I stopped breathing for the same amount of time. I'm just at a loss for words but really his masculine beauty is so amazing. But Sis @sh is right...I won't be able to help in looking at all the other boys too.
Yoochun kept snatching my attention with his sly & naughty grins. Junsu and his butt (you're blind if you can't notice this), Yunho and his snappy dance moves and Changminah...Tintin and Tara's baby...Oh boy, of the 5 he is the most handsome! Good thing I look at him like a little brother or I'd probably be entertaining naughty thoughts like Libay. :D
Changmin kept acknowledging our calls to him by arching up his brows...which is just so adorable. I can see from his eyes that he is enjoying the night. He even exchanged a few words with the dancers from time to time.
But my Darling Joongie...I think he wants me dead! At the "You're my Miracle" numer he was the only one who took off his coat exposing his flawless armpits. It was in full display the entire night. Gaaaaaaaaah! I really love it.
The battlefield and winner clip are so darn cool! To finally see Rising Sun being performed live is a dream come true. All the people in the arena were shouting "No" with Changminnie. I can't help thinking about my niece Tintin when Yunho strut his butt out there. And to see Jae's solo perf got me teary eyed. His voice is just splendid.
After Hiyaya the surprise cake for Junsu was brought out. Yunho took the lead in singing Happy Birthday. While singing all the people in the seated section brought out small banners with "Happy Birthday Junsu" written on it. It was so touching to see. After the song the 4 boys caked Junsu. His voice was shaking with emotions when he was asked for a speech. So our surprise was a success!
The Hug part is what I've been waiting for. Jae went back to the stage to get his bottled water and the crowd went crazy when he motioned to throw water to them. Maricar and I were luckily blessed by Jae's water. There was even a JaeChun moment in front of us...I think Jae pinched Chunnie on the side which tickled him so he ran after Joongie. It was so cute.
Near the end Yunho went to our side, faced us and waved. His smile made me forget to shout out Che's message. I just took a deep breath and waved back at him. :( Sorry Che.
The ending was an unforgetable moment for our friend Miki. Yoochun picked up the stuffed soccer ball she threw on the stage. This was her Christmas gift for him together with a small stuffed elephant. This soccer ball was the one kicked by Junsu. We were all shouting "Oh my God. that was Miki's ball!" when we saw Chunnie placing it on the floor and preparing it for Junsu's kick.
Someone captured that in fancam and I uploaded it
here in my dailymotion account.

jaejoongaddict Naturally immediately after the show we slumped on the floor. That is the only time we felt our tiredness.
I think we got back at the hotel around 1am and we took one more shot before going our separate rooms. Diane and her friend joined us in the van this time.
And these are the goods we bought. My glow stick was borrowed by Michelle and brought it to Canada with her. Hers got broken and she wanted to use mine for the 16th concert. I do hope Miki got it back from Seattle by now.
And that's how our day went!
