"Junsu.. don't go waiting for me okay?" ..Because i might not be able to come back. Those were Yoochun's last words, only the last few ones were not said, before he leans for a kiss towards Junsu. He turns his back, and makes his way to his terminal.

"YOOCHUN!" Junsu yelled, making the lad turn around.

Junsu stared at his lover who would be miles away from him in a few hours.

Clenching his fists on top of his heart, as tears roll down his flawless cheek. Junsu mouthed the three words that meant a lot to him and Yoochun.

Yoochun understood, making his heart ache more. He wanted to run back to Junsu, to the one he loves. But he knows if he did, he would hurt him more. Leaving early would be more less painful for Junsu.

Yoochun gave one last smile towards Junsu and started pacing towards his terminal gate.

Junsu watching Yoochun's back go smaller every second.

When Yoochun couldn't be seen anymore, Junsu broke down, he was about to fall on his knees when a powerful hand grabbed him. Junsu looked through his blurry vision and there he saw, his best friend, which he needed so much at this time.

"J-Jae.." Junsu choked, then finally breaking down. He burried his face on Jae Joong's chest, crying his heart out, holding tight on Jae's polo shirt, nearly tearing them off, Junsu hoped he could just die, because the pain he's feeling right now is unbearable.

"Shhh~ It's okay. He'll be back before you know it." Jae gave out a small smile, even though Junsu couldn't see it.

= = = = = = = = = =

Days, months, a year had passed. Junsu was still waiting for Yoochun.

They talked through the phone ever night, not a single night missed since the day Yoochun left.

"Yoochun, when are you coming back?" Junsu asked his usual question every time they talked over the phone.

"Soon.." was what Yoochun would always answer.

"You have to come back soon, I miss you so much.." tears weere pooling in Junsu's eyes again and him trying to stop it was a another fail when Yoochun heard his light sobs.

"I will, I'll be back.." Yoochun would always say this, but not dare promise Junsu anything.

"Chun, why can't you just study in here? Korea has the same standards of education with the United States. Why go this far?" Junsu reached for a tissue to blow his nose, since his crying clogged his nose, making it hard for him to talk.

"You know my father wants this, I can't just let him down. And lets say, it's a way of thanks towards him, because ever since he knew we were together and that I'm not into women, he accepted it and I'm glad he did.. I can't seem to break his hopes of me having a good future. Su, I hope you understand.." Yoochun was begging for Junsu's understanding.

Junsu let out a heavy sigh, that's all he can do after all, "Of course, I do.. I just wished we weren't far from each other.." Junsu whispered, his voice hoarse from crying.

"Thank you. Su, I have to go.. I need to do some paper work.. I'll call you soon.." Yoochun switched the phones ear peace from his left ear to the right.

"Okay, I'll wait.. I love you.." Junsu whispered the last three words.

"I love you too..", even though Yoochun can't see Junsu, he could feel the smile in his lovers face.

Soon, both of them hanged up.

"Yoochun, are you sure with this?" Yoochun's father asked as he watched his son gaze out his bedroom window, hurt filling his eyes.

"Yes, I'm sure." Yoochun whispered, not removing his gaze from the window.

"Junsu!!" Jae Joong squealed at Junsu who just entered their usual hang out place.

"Jae, can you stop with the squealing?" Junsu sat across Jae and his lover Yunho.

Jae was grinning from ear to ear, making Junsu feel uneasy.

"What'a with the stupid grin?" Junsu asked while signaling a  waiter to come over, once the waiter arrived, Junsu ordered his usual, one whole platter of Kimbap and a Vodka Cruiser.

"You see, Yunho and I.." Jae giggled at the thought.

"What? Are you one of those males who got pregnant? What do you call them? Oh yeah, mpreg right?" Junsu asked while placing a whole kimbap in his mouth.

"Geez, what's with the attitude?" Jae raised an eyebrow, "And no, Yunho and I are not having a kid, though i wish we could. We have just planned on.." Jae stopped on his words.

"On..?" Junsu hates Jae when he has to do the fill-in-the-blanks for him to get the news out of his best friends mouth.

"Getting married in Vega!" Jae finally blurted out while a hint of pink on his cheeks are slowly showing.

"Oh, getting married? Why in Vegas?" Junsu asked, fingering a couple more of Kimbaps and gulps down his glass of Cruiser, calling the waiters attention for a refill.

"Well, because in Vegas, same sex marriage is widely accepted." Jae grabbed one of Junsu's kimbap while staring at Junsu's red Cruiser.

"Junsu, are you okay? I mean, is this okay?" Jae asked, worried expression present on his face.

Junsu lifted a brow, "Okay with what? You guys getting married? Of course, I'm eating so I couldn't go 'Oh my god! Really?! Congratulations!!', so yeah.." Junsu shrugged.

"No, not that. You've been drinking Cruisers like it's water.. Junsu, I know it only has 5% alcohol on it, but too much is bad.." Jae worries too much for Junsu, he knows this happens because of his depression from Yoochun's departure.

Junsu misses Yoochun, but they talk every night, and it seems like it makes Junsu miss him more.

= = = = = = =

Its been a week since Jae and Yunho left for Vegas, and Junsu felt more alone than he already is.

"Eyyy~ Junsu, it's not like we're not coming back anymore. We'll just get married in here, we're not migrating.." Jae said over the phone for the 7th time, since Junsu called him three times already.

"I know, but it's boring.  Min doesn't want to go out, his nose is like super glued in books. Do you know that?" Junsu looked over Changmin who was busy writing and eating at the same time, with his black rimmed glasses sliding from the birdge of his nose.

"Well, you know how he is." Jae laughed while Junsu scoffs.

"At least you have a companion. Just bear with him okay? Oh, Junsu, I have to go. Yunnie and I are going out for awhile. Miss you!" Junsu smiled at how Jae makes his mood change.

"I miss you too." Junsu said before hanging up.

"Hyung, wanna go out?" Changmin asks all of a sudden, making Junsu speechless.

"It's fine if you don't want to. " Changmin shrugges and starts to reach for a book.

Even before Changmin could open it, Junsu jumps on top of the table and smiled like a mad man.

"Don't you dare open another book. I'll just go get ready.." Junsu jumps of the table and runs towards his room, and before Changmin knows it, Junsu is dragging him out his apartment.

= = = = = =

"So, any plans on what to do?" Changmin asks while his eyes never left the road.

"None. Anywhere is fine, just get me out of here." Junsu muttered while starring at the blur outside.

Silence took over them, not like before, when Changmin and Junsu are together, even if the car is sound proof, their noise could break through it.

"You miss him?" Changmin asked out of the blue, and indeed. His question is pretty much obvious.

"So much." Junsu never stopped missing Yoochun, from the moment he left Korea until now. Nothing had changed.

"Why?" Changmin asked, making Junsu turn to him, his expression unreadable.

"Because I love him.." Changmin'a eyes left the road and turned towards Junsu, he knows the streets by heart so there wont be any problem.

Junsu was expecting a smirk or an annoying grin in Changmin's face but instead, he saw Changmin smiling at him.

"I knew that." Changmin smiled once more, before starring back at the road.

"Have you ever thought of looking for someone else?" Changmin asked again, earning a questioning look from Junsu.

It took him a few seconds before he answered Changmin.

"No." was all he said, and nothing else, he can't understand Changmin, he seems so different.

"So, I'm taking you to the movies." Changmin grinned at him.

"What movie are we watching?" Junsu asked.

"Bolt." Junsu can't believe him.

"You expect me to watch a cartoon?!" Junsu snapped.

"It's not a cartoon, okay? It's a 3D animation." Changmin pointed out.

"I can't believe this." Junsu was shaking his head.

"Let's see once you finish the movie." Changmin enters the malls under ground parking lot.

"Come on, will catch the 4:00 pm screening." Changmin jumps out the car, while Junsu stayed glued to his sit.

"Faster!" Changmin yelled.

"I'm gonna murdered this kid." Junsu muttered as he made his way out of the car.

They got their tickets, order huge buckets of every flavored popcorn the snack bar could offer, and entered the movie theater just in time.

Time went buy fast, Changmin scarfing down every bucket while Junsu stayed at the sour cream flavor. Changmin was right, Junsu would eat his words back at the car, because he was squealing 'Oh my God!' and 'Cutie~' in his dolphin like pitched voice, earning weird looks from the other audience.

Once the movie ended, Junsu was blabbering about how cute Bolt was, how amazing the movie looked with its 3D appearance, and so on.

"I told you." Changmin chuckled at the skipping Junsu.

= = = = = =

Its been a week since Yoochun last called Junsu, and Junsu isn't happy with it.

Junsu grabs his phone and looks for missed calls or text messages.

"Fuck this." Junsu muttered tossing his phone to his right, not caring on where it lands.

Tears were threatening to fall any moment, was Yoochun that busy at school?

"He could have at least left a damn message." Junsu pouted while wipping his fallen tears harshly with the back of his hand.

= = = = = = =

Weeks turned into months, nearly a whole year, and Junsu wasn't doing well.

The more Yoochun doesn't contact him, dark circles under his eyes go darker. His used to be pinkish lips turned into pale chapped ones. His usual scent of lavender now smelled of laundry detergent and his usual Vodka Cruiser became a Vodka Bling, which consists of nearly 70% percent of alcohol.

Jae and Yunho came back the second week Yoochun wasn't calling Junsu, and Jae was shocked to the point of nearly fainting after seeing the change on how Junsu looks.

"Junsu, stop drinking. It's not water, okay? You'll get sick with what you're doing." Jae grabs the glass of vodka from Junsu's hands that was about to touch his pale lips.

Junsu smiled tiredly, "Maybe he would at least call me if I did get sick." Junsu took the bottle, and gulped down its contents.

"Stop it, damn it!" Jae yelled and reach for the bottle, harshly grabbing it, spilling its contents all over Junsu.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?! Do you think Yoochun would want to see you like this?!" Jae yelled out in frustration.

"Why?! Would he even care?! He hasn't called me for almost a year! Not even a God damn fucking message or  an e-mail from him and his reason of being busy in school isn't gonna work with me anymore! What kind of school would keep you busy twenty four hours a day, seven days a week?!" Junsu yelled back, tears streaming from his eyes, body shaking from the effect of depression and alcohol.

Jae was taken back with how Junsu had burst. He knows his friend was in pain, but he didn't expect it to be like this. He didn't know, because after all, Junsu was a good actor when it comes to his own feelings.

Junsu slumps lower on his sit, "I just.. can't think of a reason for him to do this to me." breathing heavily, tears rushing down from his eyes.

"Why is he doing this?" Junsu looks up to Jae, eyes filled so much pain in them.

Jae sits beside Junsu and wraps his arms around the younger one.

"I don't know why Yoochun is making it hard for you either." Jae whispers.

"But he wouldn't want to see you like this, right? Get yourself up. Make him see how strong you are. The strong Junsu he loves." Jae whispers again before pulling back, thumbing Junsu's fallen tears.

"I'll leave so you could think and please.. Make more sense this time." Jae smiles at Junsu, while the lad replies with a nod.

Jae stood up from were they were sitting and reached out for his bag, "I'll be back tomorrow after work." Jae smiled his angelic one, making Junsu smile, even though it still didn't reached his eyes.

Jae left, now Junsu was alone, instead of reaching for his vodka, he stood up and walked towards his apartments balcony.

The air was cold, making him shiver as soon as the cold breeze hits his face.

He scans the street below him, not many people were walking, just a couple of teenagers doing there thing.

Junsu sighs, "When are you coming back?" he takes a glimps of the night sky, while a tear escapes his eyes.

= = = = = = = =

Junsu took Jae's words in, after gazing out from his balcony, he started cleaning his mess, he doesn't want Yoochun to see him like this.

Days went by faster as Junsu worked harder, he seems to be the same old Junsu, only with a missing heart.

It was a year and a half already, and Yoochun hasn't made contact with Junsu nor did Junsu made any move to make one towards him. He wants Junsu to live his life in a better view.

"Yoochun, your mails are flooding. All from Junsu." Yoochun's father came in holding a laptop on his hands.

Yoochun sat up from his bed and reached for the laptop, and indeed, it was flooding.

From: xiahjunsuheartsparkyoochun@dongbangmail.com
Subject: where are you?

From: xiahjunsuheartsparkyoochun@dongbangmail.com
Subject: why aren't you calling?

From: xiahjunsuheartsparkyoochun@dongbangmail.com
Subject: what the fuck is wrong with you?!

From: xiahjunsuheartsparkyoochun@dongbangmail.com
Subject: i miss you.. TT^TT

Yoochun clicked 'Select All' and 'Delete'.

"Thanks." Yoochun smiled and handed his father the laptop.

Yoochun's father was now staring at the empty inbox that used to be over flowing seconds ago.

He left his son, he knows he couldn't do anything.

"I'm sorry, Junsu.."

= = = = = = =

"Junsu hyung! I need to print something!" Changmin whined as Junsu stared deep into the computer screen, hands dancing through the keyboard.

"The printer won't leave but my opponents will.." Junsu muttered.

"I came here because I knew your printer has over flowing ink in it, and that's what I need!" Changmin whined again, making Junsu stand up.

"Just do it fast." Changmin sat in front of the computer clicking through the screen and in a few moments, Junsu's printer was groaning.

"You sound like a big baby when you whine, do you know that?" Junsu teased, while Changmin made an attempt to hit him on the arm, only being held back by the ring of Junsu's door bell.

"Coming!" Junsu yelled while he played around with Changmin.

Junsu ran towards the door to escape from Changmin's blow and was dumb struck with what greeted him as soon as he opened the door.

An older version of Yoochun. His father.

Junus was speechless for a long time.

"Junsu" Yoochun's father smiled.

Junsu snapped out of his daze and invited his guest in, settling on the living room while Changmin offered to make tea, Yoochun's father got straight to the point.

"Junsu, I know Yoochun hasn't been contacting you for nearly two years and I'm apologizing for that." Yoochun's father gave Junsu a smile, weak but filled with meaning.

"I understand, he must be really busy." Junsu smiled back.

"No, he wasn't." Junsu was confused.

"We went to the United States not because of education. But for medical reasons." Junsu felt his throat grew dry.

"We were in the states when Yoochun was contacting you, in hopes of getting a cure but we were to late. His sickness was taking over him. Qn operation wouldn't even give ua a 50% assurance that he would live. We didn't take risks." Yoochun's father heaved out a heavy sigh before continuing.

"We came back after a few months, thats when Yoochun stopped contacting you."

"Wait, you mean he was here? In Seoul?" Junsu's head was spinning.

"Yes, he was. He didn't bother making an effort to see you because his afraid that you were angry at him. That you hate him. Even though that's what he wanted to happen, for you to get mad at him  and move on.. He has leukemia, Junsu.. And he didn't want to burden you."

Junsu couldn't see through the tears blocking his view of Yoochun's father.

"You mean, Yoochun..." Junsu whispered, voice hoarse from the sudden dryness in his throat.

A nod gave him the answer, and he broke down.

Cries filled the apartment, Changmin rushed back with the tea he struggled to make, to only see his hyung crying his heart out, hands clenching his chest.

= =  = = =  =

Jae, Yunho and Changmin visits Junsu more often, hoping to make Junsu feel less alone.

"Junsu, what do you want to eat?"Jae asked while putting his apron on.

"Anything." Junsu murmurred, eyes on the tv, obviously not watching.

"Junsu hyung! What's better? This or.. this?" Changmin beamed holding two CD's.

"Either." Junsu murmurred again, eyes still not leaving the screen.

Yunho came out the bathroom, "Changmin, where did you put my other slipper?!" Yunho yelled out.

Yunho bent down the sofa and started searching for his slipper, but his hands made contact with something else.

Yunho pulled out the object, it was an envelope, with a smudged 'Junsu' written on it.

"Junsu, I think this is for you." Junsu turned to look at Yunho, handing him the envelope.

Junsu took it and read his name written on it, he knows the cursive too well. It was Yoochun's hand writting.

Flashback.

Junsu was in tears when Yoochun's father left. Junsu was in Changmin's comforting arms.

Yoochun's father left an envelope with Yoochun's last words towards written in it.

Changmin called Jae and Yunho and told them to come quickly.

Jae and Yunho arrived fast, stumbling to get into Junsu's living room.

"Changmin, what did you do do Junsu?!" Jae yelled at Changmin, while slumping himself across Junsu and Changmin.

Jae's action made the envelop slip from its place, and Jae's random kicking pushed it under the sofa.

End of Flashback.

Junsu ran his fingers across the writing. It felt familiar to him.

Junsu ripped the lid open, flipped the folded stationary and there for a moment, felt his heart stop.

Junsu~
I'm would have be gone when you read this. I know what I did was wrong, pushing you away with no apparent reason. But I didn't want to be a burden. It was hard for me to do this. I was hoping you would let go and move on because doing so wouldn't hurt you that much. I don't want to hurt you once I leave. I don't want to you to feel alone.

Don't cry after reading this, hm? I'd feel more bad if you did.. I just want to thank you, for all the beautiful memories you gave me. Being with you made my life less miserable. If only we had more time...

Always remember that I'll be watching over you..
I'll always be, like I used to..
I love you, baby.. I'll will be loving you, no matter what happens.
Junsu laughed, "I thought you hated me." Junsu's tears landed on Yoochun's final words, nearly erasing it.

%he very moment those tears fell, he felt Yoochun's presence..

..watching over him.
