SMTown has died for me. I have no positive feelings towards this poster, not even with it saying "TVXQ" on it. There's still something completely.... completely WRONG about this, and I want ANSWERS from Lee Soo Man right this minute.
I've waited for... what, 2 years now? 2 years to be assured that all artists under SM Entertainment are getting equal status and treatment. For 2 years now, I've been scorned and neglected.
Now this has nothing to do with my fandom for DBSK. No, it DOES NOT. This is to do with my other fandom.
There's something missing on that poster.

What does LSM take Shapley for? Huh?
The neglect clearly shown for these girls is beyond ridiculous. I stand by the thousands of other Shapley's crying out to deaf ears, that this is quite possibly the most underrated girl group in history.
People that say they weren't successful enough to garner promotion or a comeback in Korea, are ignorant fools who have no fucking clue what they're talking about. "One More Time, OK?" was a successful album which catapulted them up the charts.
People who say they don't have the real "girl group factor" to make them successful have probably never listened to real singing or watched a real performance before -- or maybe haven't even seen CSJH perform at ALL.
These girls have it. They have everything, and Shapley is one of the most loyal fanbases I've ever seen. I should know. I'm a Shapley too. Just one of many that's been suffering for too long a time.
The only thing that these girls are lacking, as Eternal Shapley archives puts it, is PROMOTION.
For God's sake, they need it, Soo Man.
They need a new Korean album. They need a comeback. They need to show an appearance.
You already pulled them out of Bangkok, which was just... crossing the LINE.
I know Stephanie's been under a lot of pain with her back and her legs. The dancing is hurting her, but she still gives it her all.
But to pull out the entire team? I know they've performed without Stephanie in Japan before, and you PROMISED they would perform in Bangkok... But... At the last minute.... Suddenly Shapley's are left floating by themselves.
I almost cried when I saw the Shapley's that still went to the concert with banners and signs, hoping. They were polite. They cheered for other artists, but the whole while they kept their faith that CSJH would be there.
And I know CSJH were expecting to perform too. They'd left messages saying how they couldn't wait for SM Town '08. And then, they were told they wouldn't perform.
I heard that Stephanie's recovering. But even so, the other girls have voices too.
I'm not going to say that I feel sorry for Stephanie, and that I think she would have been better off accepting that scholarship to the ballet academy. In fact, I do feel that it's a loss, because look where she and her team are now?
But I'm changing my perspective, because of an interview I read --

No, not once. When I first decided to become a singer, I promised to never have regret over my decision.

I sometimes do ballet when we aren't on television. Just practicing ballet gives me energy. Truthfully, life as a ballerina is short. This is why children are pushed into it so young. In entertainment, it is the same as a singer becoming a composer. But a ballerina does not understand life without dancing on stage. Even if they aren't very good.
She doesn't regret it. Because she decided to choose to be a singer, and that's what she is today.
Well, I pray that she's treated as a singer.
