First semester
This week, I finished my first semester as a PhD student. The work was quite difficult and exhausting, but I feel smarter already. The classes were and shall continue to be taught with a rural indigenous emphasis.
This semester:
1,000 pages reading, probably near 2,500
70 pages of writing in the last three weeks
100 pages of heavily researched and references papers total
3 presentations
If you see give me a hug and I will hug back, promise. Anyone who knows me also knows that by myself I could not have done this.
Adrian, has:
made me lunch almost every morning
cleaned the bedroom
been supportive
found herself a job
inspired herself
let me work
proofread papers
listened to practice presentations
and last, but not least WOKEN ME UP IN THE MORNING.
