Dear purimgifts writer --
Thanks for writing for me! I am very easily pleased; I almost don't want to write this letter because some of my favorite exchange stories were ones where someone wrote something I never dreamed of wanting, but loved as soon as I read it. So please feel free to read no further and just write what you love.
But if you are still reading: I love details of someone's work, of how they do their job, whether it's a standard nine-to-fiver or a Wild West madam or a chaperone for tributes in a dystopia; I love the small telling domestic detail; I love longing, for another person or for a dream; I like happy endings as much as the next person but I also love bittersweet and sad but real (given the celebratory nature of this exchange, maybe not totally devastatingly bleak endings). For Deadwood and Brave I would prefer no AUs, as the specific worlds built in both are part of what I love, but as I said above, with the right story I can be persuaded.
