10 Things I like that start with the letter D:
1. Dungeons & Dragons. LOL Yeah, I'm a tool. I don't even play anymore unless it's on the computer and I can cheat and make myself a god. But I still like it!
2. Dorks. Just because I am one.
3. Dip. Heluva Good, to be exact. I could eat an entire pint of it in one sitting. Perhaps that's where the 15 pounds came from? If so, then I enjoyed putting every pound on!
4. Driving. Ahhhh, the open road. There's really nothing quite like going 80-85 MPH and screaming along to Tire Tracks and Broken Hearts (the Andrew Lloyd Webber 50th birthday version, which rocked). Oh, and avoiding state police. Good times!
5. Duncan Hines. Anything they make: cake, froting, cookies, etc. See a pattern?
6. Dogs. They're cute!!!
7. Drawing. I haven't done it in a while, and I can't draw men because I'm too lazy to learn. But it's still a very fun way to envision the characters I create for stories and such.
8. Down comforters. My dream bed is a sleigh bed with a whole set of down comforters so thick that I would sink a foot into them.
9. Diamonds. I'm a girl. What did you expect?
10. Darcy. Mr. Darcy totally emcompasses everything that should be found in a romantic hero. If you read "Mr. Darcy Takes a Wife", and "Darcy & Elizabeth: Days and Nights at Pemberly" (by Linda Berdoll), all of Darcy's best qualities are multiplied tenfold and some are even added. No one in any book I've ever read has ever compared to Mr. Darcy, even the infathomable Roarke. :)
