Mmmmm . . . yarn . . .
Webs order placed last night, with sweet 25% discount. After Joanne's stuff, I was literally 67 cents away from it (total of full priced merchandise was $119.33 *groan*). So I gleefully got an extra ball of mine. Oh well--I'll find something to make with the extra. :P I hope they're able to fill the order today. If they stick it in the mail today or tomorrow, there's a good chance I'll have it by Saturday. YAY! And then I'll be well into the Clapotis by the 23rd.
I think I'm getting faster at knitting. It used to take me two weeks to finish a pair of socks (one week per sock, working on it for a couple of hours a day). But I started the second half of a pair on Saturday and I'm almost done with the leg three days later. Heel flap and turn will probably go down today. :)
And I'm going to start my Back to School Vest this week (in Fitted Knits by Stephanie Japel). I don't have blocking tools, but I'm going to take my gauge very carefully and hopefully all I'd need to do is wash in Euclan and lay flat to dry. But by the time I'm finished with the sweater, I'll probably have acquired some blocking tools. :P That should take a loooong time!
BTW, after ordering yarn, I dreamt of the yarn. That's pretty sad. LOL
