(no subject)
Pretty good week so far. I have missed four classes but that was mostly due to my dad being in the hospital. He is supposed to get out today. He has kidney stones but apparently they are monsterous big- his doctor double checked the info he was faxed because he thought the size was a typo! So they put in a stint to help relieve pressure and other bits. They are too big and too hard to be broken up w/ the sound waves thingie so they are going to try him on this liquid that is supposedly going to help but the dr doesn't have much hope that it will. And then he has to lose weight so that they can try to break up the stones. The third option is major surgery where they would have to go into his kidney to get the stones out. That would suck majorly and they really don't want to have to do that. So my dad is going to be pissed but his eating habits are massively going to change when he gets home so that he can get better.
I haven't heard from my mom in a bit and I'm worried that my trip to Paris has been compromised. My bro Jon and his wife sent my mom an email stating that they finally put Noah into preschool. This is great because he is 2 and he doesn't talk and he isn't socialized at all. But they put him in the same preschool her sister used and it is $600/mth!! Well they can't afford that so they sent an email to my mom requesting the money. Apparently she flipped at being treated like a cash machine. And to add insult to injury they then sent a follow up email when she didn't immediately respond. Then Jon called Brad and asked if he had heard from mom. So Brad emailed mom and asked and she said I got their email. I'm just worried she is so mad that everyone wants stuff that she wont want to go to Paris. But we shall see.
Off to study for tests next week.
