Wow I haven't posted in here for a while. A lot of things have gone on.
School started and I've already had two phone calls regarding Dylan and two notes home regarding Jaden. This year looks so promising *sigh*.
Jaden turned 9 and Dylan turned 14. Both birthdays were pretty uneventful so that's always good. We went to Hershey Park for both days but Dylan's turned out to be a far nicer visit. When we went for Jaden it was a Saturday and it was also Boy Scout day. The place was mobbed. When we went for Dylan's we took a day off through the week and pulled the kids from school and there were no lines at all. We walked right up to most of the bigger rides and got on the next ride out. It was fantastic! Best time at Hershey Park ever.
Dylan's play went really well. He did a great job and I'm so proud of him. He's a natural. He's so funny. I love this kid.
Girl scouts started again for the girls and Jaden's troop went camping this past weekend all weekend. Dylan decided to go to his Dad's house for the weekend for the first time in a while so it was just Mark and Elena and I. We spent Saturday at the Inner Harbor and went to the Aquarium and to a lot of the little stores. We walked around a lot and there were a ton of jelly fish which pleased her. We came home and played games and she went to bed a happy girl. Sunday we laid around and watched football until we had to pick up Jaden. It was really nice.
I found out some friends of mine are getting a divorce. It's kind of weird because they just sort of changed partners with another couple that I know who were together for a few years but not married.
Mark and I went to Florida. I had to go for work and he joined me for a few days. No kids! It was great!
My nephew Josh is in the hospital right now. He has been there since Sunday. They are pretty sure he has viral meningitis. He is on the 10 day IV antibiotic course for it. He was hoping to get released today but if he does he won't get home until around 11pm tonight. He's going to have a home nurse come teach Mom and my sister how to change his IV meds. Crazy crazy stuff. He was in some horrible pain.
I took the girls to a horse farm open house day. They got to ride horses, go on hay rides, moon bounce, and all kinds of fun stuff. Jaden is going to start taking horse riding lessons soon.
School is going good for me. This course is stupid and I'm hoping the next one is better.
