I am still blinking back tears as I relive the past few hours. I just watched a man with the most amazing presence and inspiration take the stage to announce that he will be the one to lead our country in a whole new direction. I listened to a man who seemed to speak right to me and seemed to be talking about my own life and my own struggles. This man gets it! He listens to us! He has been in our shoes! I am just amazed at the effect that he has on me. I just become so inspired and excited for a future. This country needs him as our leader. We can't afford not to realize how truly amazing this man is. I cannot afford to have him lose. If he loses it is not just my pride that will be bruised, it will not just be my hope that is dead. I have no doubt in my mind that if he were to lose my husband would be sent away again. They would keep him in the military and they would continue to deploy him until either the wars end or he is dead.
