So I was in the dining hall earlier, and Eric tells me that I am, in fact, a Reverend.
There is a church based in Arizona called the Universal Life Church, and you can apply to be a Reverend with them online. While it is sort of bad, it's because they believe anyone should have the power to marry and baptize people. Eric and his mother did it a couple years ago, and apparently his mom registered me as well. Except that I was never told.
So, I can easily send off for marriage and baptism certificates and perform these ceremonies, and they would be perfectly legal (as long as you're in one of the thirty states that recognizes them...of which New York and Florida are two). If anyone is looking to get hitched, I guess I can do it. Scary, huh?
