Just some minor changes in the lines, and an extra color layer. And in the end i'll probably end up laying down a 12th screen anyways. Another thing that isn't on there yet is going to be a sketchy border, which I came up with during a discussion with my instructor. I put down the first layer of color yesterday (which ended up a little dark :( ), and have my screen prepped for layer 2 today. It takes a loooooong time to prep for each layer. If I was printing at 8 1/2 by 11, i coul put 4 exposures on one screen, and thus quickly prep to lay four colors down in quicker time. But tabloid (11x17) will be much more awesome looking. But that means one screen exposure on my screenat one time. Laying down the emulsion, drying it, exposing it, washing it, printing, cleaning, reclaiming, and then repeating the process takes forever! But damn, it's fun. I love it so far! I've gotten a lot of positive feedback on my plans. and laying the colors out in photoshop made my life a whole lot easier. This saturday I will live in the studio.
Any way, i'm printing a run of 12 of these (plus two tag board practice prints). I'll probably give some away, or sell them?
