I walked out this morning with a job. I came home tonight with a resignation/termination letter.
Yeah, I'm an unemployed loser again. At least they're agreeing to unemployment.
Anyone have any suggestions on what to do from here? Since they're agreeing to pay for the unemployment, and since that wil pay 60%(?) of my wage or difference in wage by my calculations I'm going to need to make at least $6 an hour to break even. I think I can do that. Right now I'm thinking of going back to work at a parts store for the summer, milk the fuckers for unemployment for a few months, and then getting student loans + going to school in the fall. Maybe.
For now I'm just going to sit at home and drink myself into a stupor. Since they paid throughout the rest of the day I figure this is my one chance at getting hammered on company time and to do it (somewhat) responsibly.
