(no subject)
today we woke up and stayed in bed drinking coffee and watching portlandia and at some point we decided to go get some breakfast before i had to head off to work, so we get ready and put on our matching scarfs and nearly identical sunglasses (there was some 30 rock joke about mirroring)
we ended up going to a jewish deli and getting bagel sandwiches and more coffee.
this day was beautiful! the sun was out it was almost warm out too!
i am living my childhood dream.
to live in the NW and spend my weekend lazily drinking coffee until noon, and being a scientist. (ok still working on that last part)
i am so lucky.
speaking of, this week i met with my adviser and i joined the fermentation club at school. i am apparently a junior as of next term (!!!) i still have so much to do though i probably wont graduate for 1.5 years but wow. its crazy to say things like geez should i take recombinant DNA techniques or virology next term...
next year i will be working on getting into research. its unbelievable.
